Story:

Harem of Ankhutep is a visual novel set in the sun-drenched streets of Ankhutep, an ancient desert city where daily life unfolds in the shadow of gods, and monstergirls walk the same streets as everyone else as a natural part of everyday life. You, the player, begin your journey by escaping an attack on your homeland, and you arrive in Ankhutep to begin again, not as a warrior or a ruler, but as a humble craftsman.

Here, you’ll share meals, trade stories, and slowly carve out a new life surrounded by friendship, romance, and small, meaningful moments. Yet beneath the city’s warmth lie quiet mysteries, and every bond you form may open the door to ancient secrets waiting just out of sight.

Forge relationships with a diverse cast of monstergirl heroines, each with her own unique personality, ambition, and desire. Your decisions shape your path, unlock unique scenes, and reveal different sides of the story.

Characters:

Tamun: Never afraid to speak her mind, Tamun has little patience for nonsense. Behind her teasing smirks and quick wit is someone who takes her role seriously. She admires strength and confidence, yet she’s just as fond of good wine and good company. Spend enough time with her, and you may find her bite isn’t nearly as dangerous as her charm.

Raa: Where Tamun is sharp and outspoken, Raa speaks rarely, but when she does, her words linger. Calm and with a gaze that seems to see more than she says, she carries an air of mystery that can be both soothing and unsettling. Getting close to her means learning to listen between the silences.

Thalobek: Not always the sharpest thinker, but her heart is in the right place. Thalobek tends to leap before she looks, and sadly she also does not always have the best ideas. But her enthusiasm (and stubborn loyalty) tend to lead to her coming out on top either way, and what she lacks in brains, she makes up for with courage and a grin full of sharp teeth.

Amanita: Gentle and thoughtful, Amanita lives quietly with her sisters in the shade of the caves. She’s kind and welcoming, but her dreamlike manner makes her feel almost otherworldly. Patient and nurturing, she’ll happily share her food and wisdom if you can get used to her unusual ways.

Darius: Resilient and determined, Darius is a traveler shaped by hardship and driven by a sense of destiny. Though burdened by the weight of past losses, his compassion and loyalty make him a natural protector to those he cares about. His journey is as much about self-discovery as it is about survival.

This is an incredibly captivating VN even in 0.1. Its one of the extremely rare releases that I have on watch. The animations are incredible and there is no shortness of love put into them. Come 0.5, I would not be surprised if this rating board stays 4.5/5 nearing 1,000 votes.

It's amazing so far!I usually turn off the music in adult games but here it fits so well and helps a lot with creating immersion! Not sure if I should call it voices, but the "voices" of the girls are very charming and give me an odd sense of comfort when paired with the music.The character design is great, every girl that has been introduced so far stands out as very unique and sexy. So far my favorite character is Raa and I hope to see much more of her in the future!This has potential to be up there with the best games on here, super excited to see how this turns out.

A fairly short demo that prepares the players and future fans of Harem of Ankhutep of what’s to come; a slightly wholesome and colorful adventure in a world inspired by ancient Egypt mythology with a focus on monster girls.In spite of the three stars I am giving, I really enjoyed this preview, even if you can finish it in less than 40 minutes, 20 if you are a fast reader, it’s basically a taste of what’s to come, and so far it’s quite interesting.It follows the story not of a fantasy hero but an artisan, arriving in a new city after abandoning his destroyed hometown with nothing but a sculpture to try to find a new job and home in this lively world.The plot so far is straightforward and simple, the renders are charming even if some are reused for background. All the characters models I have seen are uniquely interesting, from the main LIs to random workers in the background, they transmit such vibrant personalities.
