City of Sin - The Nocturne Files is a story-driven adult casual game where players take on the role of an investigator embroiled in the deepest conspiracies and darkness of the city.  Players will enter the mysterious Nocturne Club to investigate cases of missing girls and identity fraud, encountering numerous characters and events while making choices that drive the plot forward.  They will also discover that they themselves may be the target of a hunt. What choices will the player make? City of Sin - The Nocturne Files is continuously being updated, with new characters, story events, and adult scenes being added regularly, keeping players engaged and anticipating future content.

Story:

In a city where power is measured in secrets, Kate Adler is no stranger to deception.

A sharp-witted investigator with a talent for navigating lies, she's handed a rare lead, an invitation to Nocturne, the clandestine club where the elite shed their masks and morality.

But Nocturne is just the beginning.

What starts as a simple surveillance job unravels into a deeper conspiracy, missing girls, falsified identities, and a city stitched together by corruption. From neon-lit penthouses to sewer tunnels, Kate must follow the clues through every layer of society’s rot.

Every lead is a choice. Every truth, a risk.

From a very open-minded perspective in which I read the other reviews prior to mine.firstly this is a huge step from the original demo, unlike most games with a male MC that many "fans" want an adult game to thrive on the fapping content versus an actual plot for a game and on that concept it is immersive for the debut to actually learn about the character.Easily like most games it is just the start and those I feel that heavily critique it solely on just the first launch are the ones that end up kicking their own ass. I as well played the Jessica series some concepts I do agree with however at the end of the day the biggest pro for the dev is what many lack which is at the start having image and replay galleries, avoid the damn sandbox as it's been way overdone and this game does just that it gives you options that are clear with said achievements going along the way.Major kudos to the dev for ascending in the rendering from the start of doing Jessica, to the current game and that growth has purely been put onto display.

I don't want to sound too optimistic since it's still very early, but I did want to leave an encouraging review because IMO this is a HUGE improvement from the Jessica games.What always bothered me in the Jessica games is that they never felt like games to me. More like a "pick your kink and pick that option" slideshow. I tried to play them several times because I liked the model and the kinks, but all in all they were completely forgettable to me. And let's not forget the constant 'still in development" popus behind every corner because of the insane amount of branches.This is such an improvement. It's a lot more streamlined and I mean that in the most positive way possible.You still have different paths with different kinks (and that most likely won't change since this seems to be developer's DNA) but it's a lot less excessive and therefore the individual paths have a lot more depth.Jessica was wide as an ocean and deep as a puddle, this is a lot more coherent and as a result a lot more engaging.I'm really looking forward to play more.

5/5 Stars - Holy crap, this is an amazing start!Playing this took me right back to when I first discovered DoAdventures stories on CHYOA, like those Jessica's Choices branches that hooked me for hours with the same kind of branching paths, hot scenarios, and that addictive "what if" feeling. I'm all over this!Big shoutout to DoAdventures for knocking it out of the park on this one. This has huge potential to be one of my favourites ever and for a v0.1, this thing has way more content than a lot of full games I've played recently. Feel like I've been on here for hours and I don't feel like I'm anywhere near the end.Please continue this story! Please give us the next episode soon. PLEASE!
