Gripping Features

Simply tap anywhere on the screen, and your character will move in the direction you tapped; swipe in the opposite direction to change your character's movement direction. The goal of Crossy Road is to guide the animals safely across the road, even if there are oncoming vehicles or crocodiles lurking in the water. As the distance increases, the number and speed of vehicles on the road also increase, making the game progressively more difficult.

It's a mistake to think that doing nothing will eliminate all dangers. If you remain still for too long, an eagle might swoop down and snatch the animal you're trying to guide. The game screen also changes depending on which path you choose. The game screen transitions from city to countryside, then to mountains, and finally to rivers and streams – an exciting feature. Players can purchase over 150 characters, all rendered in a fun pixel art style, and use these characters to enhance the levels. While Crossy Road lacks background music, its sound effects are excellent. Different characters emit their own unique and interesting sound effects when they move. In addition to the background music, players can hear the idling sound of engines, music playing from car stereos, and horns.
