I have been a fan of this game since I was 12, I'm now 22, and I finally played this game after 10 years and I must say, it's a beautiful visual novel featuring the finest bosoms and admittedly, the most twisted series of events akin to that of Goosebumps considering the transformation aspect the characters endure throughout the stories. On top of that, the art is quite... Well, let's just say for a 2014 game, even the art style was quite... Dated. Not bad, in fact, quite cute, just could be better in my opinion. That being said, I love Gender Bender DNA Twister Extreme and I'd highly recommend it to any fellow visual novel fanatic.

The writing is horrible in a lot of places (especially the storylines written earlier; and even more so compared to the sequels - Max's Big Bust, Alluna & Brie, and Max's Big Bust 2), and god it shows that this game was made over a period of several years (the last few routes are way, way better than the first ones and keep poking fun at the plot holes of the older routes). The art's also... myeh, okay.This might just be me being trans and stupidly gay, but I love this game. Yeah it's bad in places, but it's just so fun and lighthearted it's surprisingly easy to get over those bits (well, once you've gotten past them that is - just... do yourself a favor and save the Dina route for later on in the game).The game's also very Australian, which is always a plus in my book.

Honestly, this game isn't nearly as bad as many here are making it out to be.If you're debating whether or not this is for you: This game is in no way even trying to be a realistic representation of being transgender. This is a fetish game, and one that's appealing to a very niche audience. If you're looking for a game about the life of transgender individuals, this isn't it; if you're looking for a normal-ish porn game, this isn't it, I would reccomend Huniepop though.

However, if transformation fetishes apply to you, be it breast expansion, animal transformation or gender swapping, this game is most certainly for you.While it isn't cheap and the artwork doesn't even come close to standing up to a game such as Huniepop, it is actually fairly amusing for a visual novel. A lot of people I see talking about it ask why you wouldn't just on deviantart to find this; and to that, I challenge you to find anything nearly as vast or complete. Many of the characters have more than 5 endings to find. I can think of very few artists who have written stories retaining to these fetishes that would even come close to half of the stories this game tells.While I certainly don't think it has the enjoyment factor of something like Huniepop which can also just be played for fun, I do think that it has plenty to offer. If it appeals to your weirder side like it does mine, get it, otherwise it simply wasn't intended for you and you can avoid it entirely.
