Introduction
Short Life is a minimalist action-platformer. Featuring a simple art style and numerous free levels, it blends adventure and platforming gameplay, delivering a thrilling and exciting experience. In Short Life, players choose their hero and skillfully utilize body parts to avoid obstacles and reach the level's finish line. You must avoid spikes, jump over mines, and be wary of other devastating traps that can inflict unimaginable damage on your hero. Reach the finish line as safely as possible!
Gameplay for Short Life:
Short Life is divided into several levels. Each game will include a number of different obstacles, obstacles and traps representing accidents and incidents that can happen in this life. These challenges are randomly arranged. You have absolutely no idea what’s going to happen to the character’s life.
Cars come out from nowhere in front of you, if you don’t slow down in time, you will be hit. While walking on the road, out of nowhere a portable chainsaw sped out on the road, threatening to cut you in half. While walking, a rope like an electric wire falling from nowhere can cause you to be electrocuted and burned black… There are thousands of such accidents lurking on every street. It is difficult to help the character overcome all to preserve his life.
Short Life’s difficulty has always been its unpredictability. You never know what challenge you are about to face, what accident is about to fall from the sky. Obstacles in the early stages are still easy to breathe. They appear orderly, not too dense and slow pace, you can completely control the situation.
But things change from level 10 and up. Pitfalls and accidents appear more densely, often and in unexpected ways. You will experience 60 levels with hundreds of different types of traps. From spikes, hacksaws, cranes, craters, explosive bombs, vehicles on the road, high steps, steep roads… Each of these items will hurt you in a different way. Car crashes will cause you to fall on the road and bleed. Sharp spikes will cause your injured leg to stop moving normally. The hacksaw will mercilessly cut you in half. Minefields will make you explode into small pieces. In general, there is an element of violence, you need to consider when choosing this game to play.
The later, the lower the probability that you are alive to pass the level. Remember your only mission in Short Life is no sightseeing, no puzzles, just focus on avoiding all the obstacles that appear and try to complete the level without getting hurt.

Features for Short Life:
Challenging and Varied Levels
Short Life features 60 levels that steadily ramp up in complexity and creativity. Traps are layered to require not only sharp reflexes but also careful observation of hints placed throughout stages. While the base levels are accessible to most players, collecting all stars and clearing each with minimal injury presents a real challenge for those craving complete mastery.
Replay Value and Customization
The game encourages replay through its star-collection system. Stars are scattered across each level; securing all unlocks new playable heroes. Later updates introduce a level editor, allowing creative players to design and share custom obstacle courses, extending the game’s longevity and variety.
Monetization and Ads
All 60 levels are free, but advertising is used to support the game. Ads can appear frequently, occasionally interrupting play—a point of frustration for some users. Options to unlock extra content could include watching ads or achieving high star counts, though the ad frequency might detract from the otherwise smooth experience.
Visuals and Humor
Short Life uses simple but effective graphics with cartoon-like gore that strikes a balance between shocking and humorous. The exaggerated physics, coupled with the over-the-top injury animations, make failure entertaining rather than frustrating. The overall presentation, aided by lighthearted sound effects, keeps the mood playful and absurd.

Pros & Cons:
Pros
Creative, darkly comedic take on platforming
60 varied levels, all free to play
Entertaining ragdoll physics and cartoon violence
Custom level editor available
Unlockable heroes and star collection add replay value
Cons
Physics can sometimes feel inconsistent
Frequent ads may disrupt gameplay

Conclusion:
Throughout your path you'll find several elements to be avoided at all costs, among them platforms with stakes that shred you with the teensiest move or bombs that blow you through the air and dismember you in the process. If you manage to escape these mortal threats you'll successfully beat the level and can then access not only more intricate and fun challenges but also play with more characters. Otherwise you'll watch your friend suffer the most horrible of deaths. Short Life is, in short, a very fun, brain-clutching game – in the best possible way. Get to work and beat all the levels!
