Mechanics of Deeeep.io:

Animals are entities. Therefore, they can be collided with, receive knockback or damage, and have health points.

Animals can deal damage. They are also affected by status effects. Health points, damage, movement speed, boost bar count, size and base status effects (armor, armor penetration, bleed reduction, lifesteal, and damage reflection) vary among different animals.

Most animals have their own special abilities, which are divided into active and passive. Active abilities are special abilities that need to be triggered via charge boost or normal, but altered, boost. An example of this would be Orca's grab or Napoleon Wrasse's dash. Passive abilities are usually rarer abilities that are always active. An example of this would be the buffs granted by Manta's animals or Cachalot being quicker in deeper.

If an animal is in danger, they can choose to hide. Some of the props provide temporary shelter for certain types of animals. Getting close to the props will cause the animal to become transparent and can’t be collided with. The predator would then have to leave and find a new prey again.

Tips and Tricks of Deeeep.io:

Attempt pinning the opponent against a wall while making sure your piranhas wrap around them. This prevents them from being able to attack all of your piranhas at once, making you retain more of your piranhas for a longer time when attacking.

Attempt to make friends and team with others since piranhas are usually quite awful against a lot of T10s when face tanking. Third parties are usually key.

If choosing to fight someone else, try catching them off guard when they are unprepared/not expecting the attack. Also, only attack when they likely have no boost.

When chasing someone, make sure that you air boost almost parallel to the water so that you can spread your piranhas out to prevent them from running.

Farming is usually a good way to increase your score with piranhas due to being able to spread your piranhas out to catch lots of food (especially useful for air boosting in the ffa underground waterfall area).

When running away, air boosting is the only viable way to quickly escape players. It is also possible to cross the non-swamp area in if one charges their boost to regen piranhas constantly.

If you are facing anything with splash damage, run away. Don't even try attacking. Be friendly/run.
