Borderline thumbs up. It's a decent little twinstick roguelite. On one hand, it's hard to think highly of this game when games like Binding of Isaac and Enter the Gungeon already exist. On the other hand, this game is a fraction of the price, so it's not really a fair comparison.I think for this game to be really good it just needs more *stuff*. More room types, more enemy types, more stuff in the rooms so that it's not always just an identical rectangle arena, etc.For now, I'd say get this game only on sale and only if you really like twinstick roguelites.

Despite it's visual similarities to tiny rogues, this game surprisingly plays completely differently when making builds and such, and is a lot of fun to play. I am not very good yet, but I cant wait to see all this game has to offer. Add steam achievements plz.I went and got good, and I can confirm, this game is genuinely so much fun, it heavily rewards taking massive risks and once you get through whatever terrible situation you put yourself in you come out the other side basically a god, and can just plow through everything in front of you without thinking. I haven't had this much fun with a roguelike since I got roboquest, and the dev is super good at talking to people about various rough spots the game has, and adding a lot of new content on a regular basis. I really cannot recommend this game enough, especially for the price.

Difficulty doesn't seem to do much of anything noticeable, though I've only played on Medium and Extreme. Both seemed fairly balanced and I would die mostly because of my stupidity than the game being cheap. You'll find lot of different unlockables you get by doing various challenges and as you advance, you get access to more unique things. The music and sound effects are alright, nothing too complex, but it's enjoyable.That said, the game does need work in places, especially with enemy variety and the variety of items you find. I've played through multiple runs now where I've gotten the same items each time, which is a bit odd. There's also some balancing issues with certain items where you should just never taken them, but overall it isn't too bad. Overall, the story isn't too bad, but it kind of bland, although I will admit I'm not very far into the game.For the price point though, the game is a decent grab if you're looking to waste some time and just chill for a run that can take as little as 10 minutes. As the developers continue to update the game, I could see this being something fun to co-op with friends to mess around with.
