Incredible start for a game but for now not a lot to review. Art looks great and the women look hot. Sex scene was a little boring but good looking, I wish it was animated. The story is not that innovative but really well presented. Even without porn it could hold my attention.

Alas, I found this to not be a great aid in my cultivation and could not break through!On a more serious note, I've been on a martial arts/cultivation manhua kick so this game caught my eye. It takes that genre and combines it with a netori revenge corruption story. Whether that's good or not is very much personal preference, but after three chapters I'm thinking this isn't for me.If you known nothing about the cultivation genre, I don't think this is a great first exposure to it. It contains many of the typical tropes but doesn't explain any of it to you. The subpar translation doesn't help much either. At the same time I view a lot of entries in the genre kinda like junk food, where they're not exactly "good" but you still like it. Like watching a bad tv show that you enjoy anyway. If not for certain things themes, that's where this was falling into for me.You play as Mo Sheng, a guy with average talent in the world of martial arts. You learn that he ran into a powerful demonic cultivator and is essentially forced into his plan of having you win a martial arts tournament to acquire a special item that will help the demon guy. Make no mistake though, despite being forced into things by the demon guy, the MC is truly a trash. There exists another disciple, Xiao Tianyu, who is blessed by the heavens with great talent. The MC is very jealous and a lot of dialogue reflects this. Annoyingly so. He's pathetic really. Complaining about him and saying things like the girl who's into him is a "slut" because of it. You get the idea. He's not fun to play as. He really is like the token early arc villian that gets dealt with by a normal MC after a few chapters and you never see him again.From a technical standpoint the art is really good and has some fitting music. But it's missing a lot of the features a normal RenPy VN would have which is pretty annoying. Seemingly no way to save, no rollback, no skip button, the settings icon didn't even work for me.
