Gameplay of Guns of Boom:

Guns of Boom is an online team-based multiplayer first-person shooter. In Guns of Boom, players are ranked by their level. The highest level is 50 with players leveling up by gaining more experience points through participating in battles. Trophies are won but lost only when the battle is left in between the battle time. The players are divided into 2 teams, each containing 4 players. The gameplay consists of 5 minutes per game, with the team finishing with the highest points adjudged the winners. They can also have other player's weapons once they are killed by the player. Every two weeks, the ratings in all the Platinum league are reset to 30,000 rating points. The players receive the rewards appropriate to their position in the ratings, Top-500 goes to the Hall of Fame.[citation needed] This is called a leaderboard.

Reload when you can: It's easy to miss down there, but the manual reload button (the little circular icon at the bottom of the screen) is essential to racking up the kills and staying alive in Guns of Boom.Run out of bullets mid-firefight and the game will either automatically reload - which takes a couple of potentially deadly seconds - or switch to your puny pistol, which will often tip the odds in favour of your opponent.To that end, you should take the first possible opportunity to reload once you've fired any number of shots at an opponent. Don't do this in the open or when you're being engaged though - pick a quiet corner, back off, or duck behind a wall.

See the sights: It's easy to see the benefit of bringing up the zoomed sights with a sniper rifle, but it might not seem immediately obvious why you'd want to do that with your standard assault rifle. Indeed, it makes things a little fiddly and sluggish on the movement front.However, the proper use of sights can be crucial to high-end play. It's the best way to score multiple headshot hits, which will drop an opponent much quicker than body shots.You'll need to pick your moments, though. Don't use your sights when you're running across an open section and need a clear view and maximum manoeuvrability, or when your opponent is very close.Do use it when you're rounding a corner onto a restricted corridor, or when you see your opponent at mid or long range before they see you. Then aim for the head.

Resist having an itchy trigger finger: It's tempting to just blast at anything that enters your field of view. Indeed, given Guns of Boom's generous auto-fire, tight levels, and partial auto-aim, it can be hard not no.There are some occasions where discretion is the better course, though. If you see an opponent running between cover across your path at some distance, shooting at them will often prove counter-productive.Sure, you'll probably score a couple of hits. But you won't do serious damage, and you'll have lost your strategic advantage.Instead, keep your sights off the opponent and quickly move around behind and close them - or across to where they're likely to appear. Most of the time it will result in an easy kill with minimal damage in return.

This is a top game when it comes to phone FPS games. Controls are easy, game play is smooth, its challenging enough to make you work for upgrades but easy enough for still progress. Graphics could be better, it gets laggy at times but nothing that makes it hard for me to play. One of my favorite. Sometimes other opponents arent visible but the gun still reacts. That's weird. Sometimes I wish it were easier to get better guns but that's the greed in me. You have to win like 50 battles in order to upgrade or get enough fragments for the better, special, guns. But like I said it's to be expected. Not impossible. Thanks guys. Its fun.

Such a great FPS. Fragments are a bit tough to come by. It is pay to win for sure with weapon balancing. The team at GI definitely are top notch with the community and what we have to say. Wish that games could be balanced a bit better so others including myself don't get insta-melted by others with $$$$. Fragments are tough to come by and the ranking system has seen some improvements. The challenges are just as it says.. challenging, sometimes grueling. You gotta grind and im okay with that minus some where it would be probably easier with a full team of friends to help out if you play solo like i do. It's Team Fortress without the special abilities. One of the best mp shooters online hands down. GI keeps doing amazing things, the events are some of the best in the biz, and like I said - they truly listen to the community.

Great game, Great graphics, easy to learn and play. They keep the game play fresh and exciting with new items, maps, and competitive events. It is kind of geared toward pay to win. But, I don't mind paying a few bucks for a developers hard work, and my fun. You definitely can play for free, but be prepared for some frustration until you are leveled up, and spent considerable hours earning some better weapons. Overall, an awesome, very enjoyable game!

I have been a player for two years now. Finally decided to give this a much deserved review. For a mobile MMOFPS, with a little shy of Borderlands style CGIs. The auto-aim. with toggle option mind you, is a beautiful concept to incorporate on this platform! Although i never spend money on any in-game currency, I do not believe in purchasing virtual items in ANY and ALL games unless they are extensions or the game software itself, I have yet to become bored! 10-Stars! I recruited 7 friends!!!!!!
