In the beginning, the dark of night will quickly set you into a panic, so avoid getting stuck in the dark by planning where you'll go and what you'll do.The moments where time doesn't pass at all, such as when you're in port, are good chances to take a look at your map, upgrades, and pursuits to decide your course. With a boat so small that moves at the speed of slow, staying relatively close to docking points during your trek is the best way to go.

Fish For Profit, Not Fun: With your boat's limited inventory, as well as the limited time you have while out on the water, it's important to be conscious of what you're catching and why. Then there are Magical Abilities, which much like Kirby's best copy abilities, give you an advantage against your foes.These abilities aren't the easiest to unlock, and that's for good reason. Atrophy, for example, can instantly harvest a fishing spot with a good chance of getting aberrant fish. If you're in a bind, Banish works like a stun grenade to your pursuers, and will temporarily keep them from attacking you.

Fishing mystery with Lovecraft horror and Tetris inventory. One of the things that makes this game good to play is that the boating controls are actually nice and easy and straightforward, so if you crash into something it's because you're zooming around too carelessly (which I did a lot anyway).

If you haven't played it, play it. It's more than a fishing game, There's a mystery to unravel as you explore a substantially large area of sea dotted with islands. It can go from feeling somewhat spooky with strange happenings everywhere, to somehow being relaxing and beautiful too.Fishing at night is dangerous, but also sometimes needed, so you must manage your sleep/sanity, otherwise you will start hallucinating. Eventually you'll be able to drege things up for upgrades to your vessel and equipment, possibly some special artifacts that someone seems pretty desperate to get their hands on...I would call it a more casual game for gameplay, but that's a complement in this case. Fishing and Dredging is simple, the challenge comes from managing your inventory and time before nightfall or sleeping. Probably won't be for the uber hardcore, but if you're looking for a game to just relax and explore with a little creepy fun thrown in there, this is for you.

Dredge is beautiful. Fantastic story, music, and a stunning, unique art style mixed with a very fun gameplay loop make this game an absolute blast. The creature design especially is top-notch and memorably. Well worth playing and the DLCs are all great editions to the game brining even more haunting Lovecraftian atmosphere to the game. 10/10.

This has been one of my favourite games to date honestly!!! I've been playing it every chance I get, and have been absolutely delighted with every single freaky looking fish abberation I catch!The characters are also interesting, develop the plot well, and it somehow feels like I never want to leave this freaky ass place!!!I'm working on 100%ing it at the moment, which definitely is a good sign as I don't tend to try 100% a game unless I'm really enjoying it! Especially when the achievements are as time consuming as the ones in this one!
