The Walking Dead: A New Frontier is a beloved post-apocalyptic survival game where players are placed in a world overrun by zombies after civilization has collapsed. Gameplay:

Similar to the previous seasons, The Walking Dead: A New Frontier is a point-and-click adventure game. In contrast to previous seasons, there are two playable characters: Clementine, the heroine from the previous games; and Javier, a new character introduced this season. The player can examine and interact with various scenery elements and collect and use objects to advance the story. They can also initiate conversations with non-player characters via conversation trees. Certain replies from other characters may offer the player multiple choices to select from, including the option to stay silent, with a limited amount of time to make the selection; if the player does not select an option, the conversation will continue as if they had stayed quiet. Such choices can affect how the other characters will later react to the player character, which can influence later events in the story. Other scenes are more action-oriented, requiring the player to complete quick time events to prevent the player character or their allies from getting killed. If the player fails these events, the game will restart at the start of such scenes. Such action scenes may also require the player to make a key decision within a limited time frame, such as which of two characters to save from attacking walkers.

The player's choices and actions will impact story elements in later episodes; for example, a character that the player does not choose to be saved will not appear in later scenes. A New Frontier incorporates player choices made in previous games in the series through existing save files. The player is offered multiple options for how they can bring in previous saves into the game, including those who switched their choice of platform prior to A New Frontier. While A New Frontier was not released for the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, players who have saves from Season Two on these platforms are able to download a patch on those consoles as to upload their saved game to Telltale's servers, and then access that from their new choice of platform.

This game is Amazing but the problem is that it lags in some mobiles. I request developers to add graphics settings so that we can play without lags and secondly the story in this game is not pretty good as compared to season 1 and 2 .If in this game the player could have been Clementine agian , then this could have been more popular and hit like other two seasons. But still I like all the walking dead series and request developers to make final season available for android as soon as possible.

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier provides a spin and a different point of view to its two predecessors by us not playing as the main protagonist throughout the entire game being Clementine. Instead, you play most of the game as Javier, a new character to the series. Do I think that’s a good change? Ehh, it personally didn’t bother me that much. The important thing is that Clementine is still there throughout the story.An immediate noticeable difference compared to the two previous seasons is the graphics are more clear-cut and detailed. The game still has that same old Telltale Games animation style but with the enjoyment of a modernised and prettier look. The cutscenes and combat animations are well put together.There’s a time gap between Season Two and A New Frontier which shows in the aging of Clementine and AJ. I liked the story’s plot. It brought in heaps of new characters, all of which you know nothing about, and it led to a lot of conflict, which also reveals a few things that Clementine had been up to whilst “off-screen”. Also, if you watched the later seasons of the original television series, a familiar face shows up in this game!Most importantly, compared to the two previous seasons, I really felt your choices altered the overall story, not canonically, you’ll always end up where you need to at the end of the day, but who dies, who lives really is on you this time.For the 100% completionist crowd, it’s easy enough to achieve, just complete the story. For the considerate money spenders, if the original price is a bit too much for you, just be patient and wait for a sale; they occur regularly.Overall, it’s a good game and I had a lot of fun getting through the story. This game is worth playing if you’ve already played the two previous seasons. That way you can progress to playing the final season, allowing you to complete the entire story.

I think this game and it's series like the walking dead season 1 is best. but still your u can make all chapters free in all seasons which may affect in growth of downloads and people staying longer. After non-buyer players complete the free chaper they delete the game but if all the chapters will be free they'll stay longer and downloads will also grow. Hope you understand. -Unknown Adviser.

Walkthrough:

Chapter 1 - Family Road Trip

The game begins with either importing your saved game from the previous part of The Walking Dead video game, event reconstruction, or choosing a default scenario. Sadly, the differences between the three options are scarce, and you'll be made aware of them only in the third chapter, when Clementine recollects some things from her past. Neither the characters' fates will change because of this choice, as all of them will eventually die. The differences have been divided into four memories, featuring Kenny, Jane, AJ, or Clementine, and correspond only with the events of the last few minutes of the second part of The Walking Dead video game.

Howe's Hardware - This choice will show you the scene with Jane in chapter 3;

Wellington and Leave with Kenny - This choice will show you the scene with Kenny in chapter 3;

Travel alone / Enter Wellington - This choice will show you the scene with Clementine and AJ in chapter 3.

After you've chosen your background, you'll be able to proceed to the game and meet the new characters. Familiarize yourself with game mechanics and dialogue choices by talking to the members of your family.

Chapter 2 - Unexpected

Your next task will be to search the area, looking for various useful things, especially gas. Approach wrecked cars and try to drain some gas from their tanks. You can also talk to other family members. Once you're done, approach the ladder on the end of the road, near the container, and climb it

Once on the other side, you'll find an ambulance, and a bit more gas in it. Use a crowbar to rip open the tank and, having first set the pomp, search the vicinity of the car. First, head for the main door of the nearby shack and peek inside through the window. You will learn that there's a hatch in the floor, through which you can get inside. Then, head down and remove the wooden plank blocking access to the space under the stairs and go inside. Finally, open the hatch at the end of the road and enter the trailer. Inside, you will find some interesting things, such as batteries in the drawer and some food on the shelves. You can give the batteries to Mariana later on.

This will be your first important choice in this episode. You have to make the call whether your family stays the night in the trailer or remains on the road.

The difference lies in a short conversation with Kate. If you choose the first option, Kate will force her opinion, making you stay either way. Both decisions will have the same conclusion, as a group of men pointing guns at you will interrupt you in the middle of filling the tank of your car.
