Skullgirls is a 2D role-playing game featuring over 150 unique characters for players to collect. Choose your favorite characters to build your perfect team and battle against various enemies. Gamplay of Skullgirls:

Skullgirls is a tag team-based fighting game in which players control characters, each with unique attacks and fighting styles, to engage in combat. Players must damage the opponent and completely drain their health, thus knocking them out. A player wins when all opposing characters are knocked out. If time expires before then, the player with the most remaining health is declared the winner. Players may select a single fighter or choose to form a team of two or three. A solo character possesses more health and deals more damage. Larger teams, while weaker, gain the ability to recover health when tagged out and perform "assists", also known as "ensemble attacks", where the on-screen character summons an off-screen teammate to perform a move. Players can assign custom assists in Skullgirls, further enhancing team customization.

Skullgirls includes technical features to address system and balance problems common in fighting games, such as "infinite combo" detection and protection against "unblockable attacks".[11] Infinite combos occur when a player is able to create a repeating, inescapable loop of attacks as an exploit. When the game detects an infinite combo through monitoring a player's actions, the opposing player can break free from it by hitting any button. Unblockable attacks occur when a player, for example, uses a low-hitting move and a high-hitting assist at the same time, making it impossible for the opponent to block.The game attempts to remedy the issue by offering a brief grace period after blocking which will guard against other hit types

Features of Skullgirls:

Hand-drawn animation: Skullgirls uses thousands of hand-drawn frames to present clear and readable action. Every attack, hit, and movement is easy to follow, which helps with timing and spacing. Characters have distinct animations that support learning matchups. The visual style stays consistent across modes, so practice carries over smoothly.

Tap and swipe controls: Controls are built for touch, so you perform combos with taps and swipes rather than complex inputs. You can adjust settings to suit your comfort and device. If you prefer to focus on timing and strategy, enable Fight Assist to simplify execution. This approach makes it easier to play short sessions and still progress.

RPG progression and loadouts: Skullgirls lets you collect Fighters, level them up, and evolve them to improve performance. You equip Special Moves and Blockbusters, then upgrade them to expand your options. Building custom loadouts allows you to tailor tools for different opponents. Over time, you refine sets that support your preferred tactics.

Team synergy: You assemble three fighter squads to create synergy and apply buffs during a match. Choose Fighters that cover each other’s weaknesses and enhance strengths. Smart team building helps you counter enemy lineups and maintain pressure. Switching and timing become core parts of your plan once your squad is set.

Strategies of Skullgirls:

Do your Daily's!: Daily events are where you'll get new moves, skill points, and coins for fighters, I suggest finishing them out 100% for larger rewards for more rewards!

Do your daily missions: On the right side of the main screen, you'll see a button with Molly with various things that give points, reach 100 points, and you'll get 10k coins and 50 theonite per day!

Make deployments: In the same menu, click deployments and send out your fighters for extra exp and the chance to get free rewards like coins or relics!

SAVE your theonite: It may be nice to see people get all the golds and diamonds, but you'll wanna save your theonite for a 10 +1 relic of your choice or for buying coins.

Play the story mode and Prize Fights: Story mode offers bigger bonuses for completing them including sometimes keys or character relics, but they are one time use only. Still, no reason not to!Prize fights, on the other hand, are where you'll be fighting many other teams in order to build up a large score and get rewards based on the tiers (you can only choose one, the tiers are bronze, silver, gold, and diamond). If you reach the end of the rewards ladder, you'll receive a character alt of that tier (i.e you go for silver, you receive a silver character. You can check what alt you get on the rewards screen).

Want exp? Play Holodeck: You'll have to fight some tougher enemies, but it will definitely level up some fighters for the trouble!And finally, don't feel too bad about not having the alt you want or not having many golds. With hard work and a lil luck, you can get the Prize Fight offered alts and save enough theonite to buy relics and hopefully get the character alts you're looking for.Some lower tier units are even better than people think, such as Nunsense Double or Bad Hair Day Filia! Such a fun game indeed! The characters are so amazing and the story is to die for, not only that but even when most characters are sexualized, they respect nuns, children, and maids, something most would just shrug off and do anyway. It's such a fun game to play, and I love doing all the different modes. I think my favorite part is getting new characters and seeing if there's a reference to another in it, it so sigma.

I've played a lot of these types of games, and thus far this one is possibly the best one I've ever played. The graphics are great, the art style is amazing and very well done, and the story and bits of dialogue between fight stages are funny and keep it light hearted. The gameplay mechanics are simple and easy to pick up, especially as I'm playing on my phone and a lot of similar games make it much harder. I don't feel like I have to pay to enjoy it, either. I highly recommend Skullgirls..

Splendid and spectacular works mates, I've been playing the game for a year now and it's bloody lovely. The characters may be sensitive to the audience, personally for me I'm alright with it, I don't look at their bodies that much, I focus on the entertainment I'm actually receiving. The combat and fighting styles are totally engaging therefore is the the gals, alot of these characters are pretty unique with their own style. Moreover, it gave me Gothic looks and vibes even so, I loved the game.

Best mobile fighting game so far. Things I would change. 1. When time runs out the player with the most fighters still standing wins. 2. Instead of collecting moves once a certain move is unlocked it can be applied to any fighter to eliminate filling up the collection box. 3. There are some fighters that need to be reworked. They are practically impossible to beat.
