This is part of what makes the enemy encounters in the game feel so tense and dangerous, and is a clever mechanic that puts Endoparasitic on par with some of the greatest survival horror titles out there.Players should do their best to reload in quieter moments whenever possible. There's nothing worse in Endoparasitic than being jumped by an enemy, only for Cynte's revolver to run out of rounds after firing once or twice. By reloading his weapons when he isn't actively being attacked, players are doing themselves a massive favour in the long run.

Handle Bosses As Quickly As Possible: The boss battles in Endoparasitic are mostly fast-paced, challenging, and incredibly intense, on par with some of the best boss encounters in other, classic horror titles. While one of them does require moving slowly and quietly in order to make it as manageable as possible, the others, for the most part, benefit from a faster-paced, more aggressive approach.Players should do their best to defeat or otherwise deal with the bosses in Endoparasitic as quickly as they can. The longer the boss battles in the game get drawn out, the more resources players typically have to use, which can be very problematic in a title where resource management is so key.

Keep An Eye Out For Secrets And Resources: Endoparasitic provides a largely streamlined, straightforward gameplay experience, but this doesn't mean that the game is without its secrets and hidden areas. While few and far between, there are certain spaces in the game that the campaign won't necessarily lead you to, but are worth discovering all the same. These add to a strong sense of world building and immersion in Endoparasitic's space station setting (which fans of Dead Space are sure to love).By this token, players should keep their eye out for secrets and resources more generally while playing Endoparasitic. While not always obvious, these small details can provide clues or lifesaving ammo and vaccines that might make all the difference to whether or not the player survives the campaign.

Having played both the original game jam version and then this version; I can give this game a fairly decent rating. This is not without caveats;The game is very short, I finished it under 2 hours (might take people about 2-3 hours depending on their skill), and all of the achievements you get are from playing from start to finish.The story is a little meh, Besides 1 room where its specifically designed for, the flare gun is useless as the ammo takes up WAY too much room. Otherwise the other weapons are generally good and well rounded.Not a lot of secrets areas, I think there was only one room that could be considered a secret, and if you paid attention you'd know how to get into it; in the continuation of the game, i'd like to see more secrets.Final boss room is WAY too hard and easy at the same time; You have to go REALLY fast, otherwise the room fills up with eggs, so if you take too long, you get murdered. Inversely, if your quick on reloading the shotgun, you can blitz the room. I'd like to see it be tweaked into 4 different rooms, and each room is specified towards one weapon, instead of the current usage of just using a shotgun for the boss.Overall, the game is worth it if you have 3ish hours to burn; I'm hopeful for more content eventually as well.

Endoparasitic sure is the epitome of dark comedy. A comedy played straight, which is the best part. What could've been another joke game is actually a thought-out Survival Horror adventure. I've beaten it but I'm still lost for words. I've never seen anything more gangster in my entire life! I won't spoil the plot, that mystery is for you to unravel, but look at this premise: we find our protagonist, and an owner of a rather sexy voice, in a place where normal adventures come to an end. He's being torn apart by mutants in a top-secret laboratory during a catastrophic outbreak. Even though the man has nothing left but one arm, a fat parasite creeping towards his brain, and a bad attitude, he cauterises his wounds with an iron and sets out to finish what he started, quickly establishing himself as a dominant life form at the top of his game. Is that what they call a "sigma male grindset"?
