PARQUET is a dating simulation game where players take on the role of an MC, a new individual born from the fusion of thousands of memories. Upon arriving in the real world, the MC encounters several girls with diverse personalities. What passionate encounters and romantic comedies will unfold between them? Players will live with the girls, learning various skills and significantly changing their lives. Players will gradually uncover the girls' secrets and build deep emotional bonds with them as the story progresses, leading the plot in different directions. Ultimately, will you be able to discover the secret of your birth?

Story of PARQUET:

In the near future, a technology called Brain-Machine Interface connects the brain and machines. This technology brings about a new paradigm and opens the gates to the digitization of human memory itself.

From these new discoveries, "he" is born. An illegal experiment mixes thousands of memories into a single vessel, creating a wholly new being.

Having only the memories of others, doubts about who he truly is start arising in his mind, until he gathers the courage to go out into the world in search of his true self.

As he steps into the real world, he meets two girls, Kido Tsubasa and Ibaraki Rino.

Both kind souls whose lives have been touched by unscrupulous BMI experiments, just like him.

Learning to live together with their secrets, "he" and "they" will bring about big changes...

Characters of PARQUET:

Kanato Ibuki: His emotions were very light in the prologue, but by the time the main story begins, he has quite a lot of emotions, so no one thinks that Kanato is not human. She's a bit blunt, to the extent of being unconcerned about saying some embarrassingly sentimental things. She has a subtle sense of humor, is responsive to words, and has the sociability of being easily friendly with people she's meeting for the first time.After going on a self-discovery trip, they share a room at the house of Rino Ibaraki and Tsubasa Kido , and sleep on a sleeping bag on the first floor. While looking for a job for her, her interest in the flower shop where Rino works catches the eye of the store manager, Aya Kumado, and is hired as a part-time job.Since he originally worked for the Ibuki Group, he is well versed in the BMI technology handled there. Even compared to Tsubasa, who is an expert in that area, it's not too bad.There is an ability called 'soul expansion'. The ability to amplify brain waves and manipulate the minds of others at close range. Since the purpose is to adapt to society normally, I try not to use it unless it is a crisis situation.

Ibaraki Reno: In fact , Kido shares a body with Tsubasa. To be precise, he implanted Tsubasa's memories into his body, giving Tsubasa the initiative during the day and only being active at night. When the day and night change, the initiative is forcibly replaced by falling into an irresistible sleep and waking up, and it is impossible to control, and even the people themselves do not know why the day and night are the boundary.When he was young, he lost his parents and grandmother one after another and suffered from the hardships of life. In exchange for a large amount of money, he participated in an experiment in which Tsubasa was implanted into himself as a subject and became his current state. I can only live at night, but I am satisfied with my current life because it is better than when I was suffering from hardships.Working part-time at night at the flower shop "Kumado". Because we share her personality, it is impossible to transplant memories with BMI. It was a fatal flaw in this work, where business content was handled by BMI, but it was possible to be hired thanks to the consideration of Aya Kumado, the manager of the store. In fact, she said that she was recognized only for her constant work because she did not have many part-time jobs. She is petted by Aya like her family and even consults her.Unlike his cool appearance, his clothes are pink, he likes flowers, and he likes cute and pretty things, such as decorating stuffed toys in his room. She likes sweets too, but she doesn't eat as much as Tsubasa already eats too much, to the extent that she occasionally eats chocolate. Miyoshi Manaka: The narrator of PRESTORY. A young woman who is the secretary of the director of the Ibuki Group. By the director's orders, she was given the role of taking care of Kanato, who at the time was her nameless doll. She gives her the name Ibuki Kanato when Kanato asks her to go on a self-discovery journey and needs her name after he kicks her out. Even after this, she is in regular contact with Kanato, giving her assistance.The basics are sincere, but the personality is cool. Even though his boss suddenly got kicked out because of Kanato, he just does his own thing and doesn't care too much. He feels that after taking care of Kanato for several years, something like maternal love has sprouted.serious lover . Drink one can of StrongMax daily. After drinking it once,Kanato, who learned of Strong Max's strength, told her to cut back on her drinking, so she seems to have restrained herself a bit.He has no self-awareness, but he is a very talented person. He is not a talented person who can only be a secretary. When Kanato asks to investigate something, she says she is not confident, but then he finds everything and throws it away, and at the end, Deus Ex Machina level. In less than a week, she finds the whereabouts of the body that has been roaming under the surface unannounced, and is ready to perform personality transplant surgery. It's a bonus that there are things in the world that are better off not knowing, and not asking or arguing about the situation.

Juichi Kanehira: The master of Einzatsu, the cafe where Tsubasa works. A middle-aged man with his mustache and beard trimmed. He has a bad mouth, but he has a tsundere side, and his skills are high enough to be recognized by everyone. And he's a serious daughter-in-law . He only appears as 'Master' on the staff roll.

Player Comments of PARQUET:

Though it was a short play (since its all paid content after the prologue), the concept was interesting! The art was beautiful and the emotions in voice acting was top tier honestly. I do wish Kanato also had a voice but other than that there aren't really any bugs or problems with the game itself. Hope to access the rest of the story at some point, but definitely worth a try.

An excellent premise envoking all the components one would expect of a visual novel but providing a refreshing, original story. It is fully voiced, besides the protagonist you see the world through, and contains excellent visuals and background music. However, the playable content is not entirely free and only provides the prologue (or "pre-story") and part of the first "episode". 

Yuzusoft is known to make AVNs, but the stories are usually so well written the R18 patches are just an added bonus. Good VNs are rare on Google play so it's nice to at least have this one available on mobile. I have this game on Steam but haven't played it yet, so I picked up the android version. So far the UI and graphics are fantastic! Would love to see more of their VNs on Google play so I could enjoy them on the go!

This being my first visual novel, I'm quite surprised to see it has a mobile port. The fact they they are expanding this to others is great. I have yet to play it on mobile but if the story is the same as on PC, it'll do good for others to find such a short and unique story to occupy themselves in. I can only see good things in the future for Yuzusoft. Edit: As someone else has mentioned the UI does seem to contrast harshly against the feel of the game(ex: text box & art) but it's also simple.
