BLEACH: Soul Resonance

BLEACH: Soul Resonance is an action-adventure game adapted from the anime BLEACH, bringing characters from the series to life in the game. Players can fight alongside familiar characters, flexibly arranging different character positions and using Zanpakuto skills to defeat various enemies and monsters to win victories and rewards. Players can obtain their favorite characters by completing daily quests, progressing through the story, and participating in events to collect rewards and create well-balanced teams for victory. The game is constantly being updated and optimized, with more new characters, storylines, and gameplay features to be introduced, bringing players even more enjoyment.

Gameplay:

Players utilize the PlayStation 3 controller's analog sticks and four shape buttons to control their character in 3D environment. Players move with the left analog stick while controlling the camera with the right. The X button performs a jump and pressing it again while in air performs a second jump. Melee is performed through the square button which can be utilized for combos.

The triangle button performs spirit attacks which consume spiritual pressure from the pressure bar which sits below the health bar at the top of the screen. Some characters have different spirit attacks based on whether they are on the ground or in the air. The circle button performs special attacks. Specials are strong moves that consume most if not all the pressure bar.

These attacks are different depending on if the character is on the ground or in the air. L1 is used to lock onto an opponent and R1 blocks. While blocking, the player can use the left analog stick to use Shunpo or Sonído to dodge. R2 performs a dash maneuver which can be held for a constant dash. L2 activates the ignition gauge which sits at the left of the screen.

Ignition lights the edges of the screen on fire and triples the power of a character's moves. The gauge can be filled by dealing damage to enemies. Once activated, the gauge will slowly drain. By pressing the L2 button again while in this mode, the character will be drained of all their remaining ignition gauge and utilize their ignition attack which is an immensely powerful move and the strongest a character has. The health bar at the top of the screen regenerates slowly as time progresses.

The more damage a player takes, the less health they can regenerate. The pressure bar regenerates quicker so long as the player is not dashing. Dashing also does mild damage. With each hit, a streak bar is refilled. The higher the streak, the higher the soul points multiplier is: 100 for a 2x multiplier, 300 for 3x multiplier and 1000 for a 4x multiplier.

Getting hit does not end the streak. At the end of a level, players are given a grade and extra soul points based on the number of points collected, difficulty played on, clear time, enemies defeated and Ignition attacks used. Once a level is over, the player can head to the level up menu and use the soul points they earned to learn new abilities and power up.

The player is placed on a grid and can only buy upgrades next to ones they have already unlocked. Paths to different grids will be locked until a certain character reaches a specified level. One level is considered buying one upgrade.

Thanks to the reasonable button layout, new players can get used to it quite quickly, while experienced players will find many ways to optimize combos. The game creates a direct combat feeling like a miniature hack-and-slash title, suitable for those who like strong action style and want to find a quick entertainment experience on their phone.

Character system based on Bleach: One of the most interesting features of BLEACH: Soul Resonance is the character system developed based on the familiar Shinigami, Quincy and Arrancar. Players can unlock faces like Ichigo, Rukia, Byakuya or Grimmjow through many activities in the game. Each character has its own fighting style, creating significant diversity for the squad.In addition, the game allows you to switch characters right in the match to create more rich combo chains. For example, you can start with Ichigo’s speed attack, then switch to Rukia to create a control effect before unleashing a finishing skill. The character rotation is quite fast, creating a feeling of mastering the rhythm of the match. This combination helps each team have its own color, depending on how you choose characters and coordinate skills.

Gacha mechanism and team upgrade system: BLEACH: Soul Resonance integrates a gacha mechanism so that players can recruit their favorite characters. Strategies:

Prioritize Character Leveling and Ascension: Your character’s base level is your biggest source of raw power in the early and mid-game. Every level directly boosts your ATK, HP, and DEF, so raising your level quickly has an immediate and noticeable effect on your ability to clear tougher content.Every time your character reaches a 10-level breakpoint, 10, 20, 30, and so on, you’ll hit a level cap. To push past it, you must ascend the character. Ascension requires damage-type Essences such as Slash, Strike, or Spiritual types, all of which drop from Karakura Defense stages.These stages rotate, so make sure you’re farming the right one for your character’s damage type. Ascension is extremely important because it not only unlocks the next level cap but often boosts your character’s stats and, at higher thresholds, even unlocks new abilities.To speed up leveling, focus all your EXP materials on your core trio: one DPS, one support, and one tank. Avoid leveling every character you pull, cause spreading your resources thin is the fastest way to slow down your progress. And ascend your main trio immediately whenever they hit the cap, since stalled levels mean stalled power.

Upgrade your Weapons as much as your Characters: Weapons in BLEACH: Soul Resonance aren’t just accessories, cause they function almost like second characters. A well-leveled weapon can double your damage output, while a neglected one can cut your power in half. Weapons level up using Tamahagane I–IV, which you can farm in Hollow Hunt stages.Like characters, weapons also hit level caps every 10 levels and require ascension to push beyond. Weapon Ascension needs Smith Hammers, obtained in Court Guard Practice stages. Weapon scaling in Soul Resonance is far more impactful than stamps or substats early on. This means that even if your character is underleveled, a strong weapon can hard-carry you through stages you technically shouldn’t be able to clear yet.To maximize power gains and leveling speed, funnel the majority of your resources into your main DPS character’s weapon first, then spread leftovers into your support and tank weapons to keep them functional. Always ascend weapons the moment they reach their cap since each ascension unlocks a sizeable stat jump.

Upgrade your Skills early: Skills are where your characters get their most unique and impactful abilities, and upgrading them early plays a huge role in how fast you can clear content. Each character has three active skills and one passive skill, and all of them upgrade separately.Active skill upgrades require damage-type materials like Art of Slash, which you can farm in Academy Training stages. Passive upgrades require Marks that correspond to your character’s class, Tactic, Support, or Full Assault, which are found in Hollow Elimination trials.To power up quickly, you need to prioritize upgrading the skills that make the biggest difference to your combat efficiency. Your Ultimate skill should always come first since it provides burst damage, crowd control, or huge utility benefits. For DPS units, your primary damage skill is the next priority because it’s the one you’ll use repeatedly in every encounter.Upgrading passives early is also valuable, as these often unlock new buffs or strengthen existing abilities in subtle but powerful ways. And don’t waste skill materials on every character you pull. Limit your investments to your main DPS, main support, and your tank’s essential skills.

best Bleach mobile game ever! the gameplay really faithful to the series, the combat is fast paced, and the animation effects are explosively good. Even better, the devs are really generous in terms of giving in-game currency, this is literally one of the best (if not the best) gacha games in terms of gacha system and generousity. Only the downside is, they have some issues with the license from the Animanga (Shueisha), but surely it will eventually get resolved someday.

this is the best bleach game I have ever played! everything about this game is still good so far there's nothing wrong which is good for a new game. There is one thing that I don't like which is the stamp system. it took me a lot of tries to get good stats to the point I have too little spiritual power to grind materials to upgrade my characters. I hope you guys add a new system where players can choose the stats they want on a specific stamp.

The best mobile action game I’ve ever played. The graphics are excellent, the character designs are great, and the developers give out a lot of jade so you can obtain all the characters. Of course, you still need to spend money if you want to be at the top, but even as a free-to-play or low-spending player, you can still get any character.

Best 3D combat game ever played, even without full hd graphics, Medium SFX and fps at 45 is already peak gameplay, The skills, Mechanics, Consistent Events and everything else is just excellent, Even got both Kenpachi and Hollow Ichigo without even hitting the guaranteed pity, Hopefully The devs will add Starkk and Shunsui after Segunda Etapa Ulquiorra, Great Game overall.

Conclusion:

BLEACH: Soul Resonance not only merely is a version of adaptation, but is the ticket bringing players directly step into Soul Society with status of a real Soul Reaper. I have really been overwhelmed by the way this game recreates classic scenes with a coat of sharp graphics, making the boundary between watching anime and playing games become thinner than ever before. Each sword line, each look of Ichigo or Byakuya all exude that “cool” aura which has made the brand of this series.
