GTA San Andreas - Definitive Edition is an open-world action-adventure game where players follow Carl Johnson back to San Andreas, embarking on a journey to clear his name and save his family after being framed. Players can not only advance the story alongside the protagonist, accepting and completing various side missions, but also freely explore the world in different vehicles, speeding across the roads at top speed. Of course, various combat scenarios are also essential; players can purchase a variety of melee weapons, firearms, and bombs to accurately shoot their enemies and complete missions.

GTA San Andreas - Definitive Edition is an action-adventure game played from a third-person view.In the game, players control criminal Carl "CJ" Johnson and complete missions—linear scenarios with set objectives—to progress through the story. Outside of missions, players can freely roam the game's open world and complete optional side missions. A multiplayer mode allows two players to roam the world. The fictional state of San Andreas, which makes up the open world, comprises three metropolitan cities—Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas—with some rural areas in between. The cities are unlocked as the story progresses; airports allow teleportation between each city using fast travel.  Scattered throughout the map, safehouses can be purchased to save the game and store vehicles.

Players may run, swim, and use vehicles to navigate the world, and use melee attacks, firearms and explosives to fight enemies, including the ability to dual wield firearms and commit drive-by shootings. Weapons are purchased from local firearms dealers, retrieved from dead enemies, and found scattered through the world. In combat, auto-aim is used to lock on to targets.  Should players take damage, their health meter can be fully regenerated through health pick-ups, and body armour can be used to absorb gunshots and explosive damage. Players respawn at hospitals when their health depletes.  If players commit crimes, law enforcement may respond as indicated by a "wanted" meter in the head-up display. Stars displayed on the meter indicate the current wanted level; at the maximum six-star level, police helicopters and military are sent after players. Officers will search for players who leave the wanted vicinity. The meter enters a cool-down mode and eventually recedes when players are hidden from the officers' line of sight.  The game features more than 180 vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, aircraft, boats, and remote-control vehicles,  and most can be accessorised with modifications like hydraulics, nitrous oxide engines, and stereo systems.

Avoid Losing Muscle With Body Fat: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was pretty revolutionary for its time and one of the many changes it had introduced to the GTA series was the ability to alter CJ's physical appearance. This also had a direct impact on the gameplay and it was possible for him to get jacked or completely overweight, depending on his eating habits and how often he visited the gym.These activities were tied to his Muscle and Fat stats, which in turn affected other stats like Respect and his overall Sex Appeal. Basically, the more you ate at places like the Cluckin' Bell, the more fat you accumulated, and the more you trained at the gym, the higher your Muscle stat increased. Once the Muscle stat is maxed out, you'll need to ensure that you maintain some decent level of Fat, or else you'll start losing some of that muscle.

Permanently Improve Your Stamina Through Burglary Missions: Another stat you'll want to keep an eye on in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is the Stamina stat. This dictates how long you can sprint, cycle or swim for, three activities you'll find yourself needing over the course of the game. The stat is improved every time you engage in those activities, but there is another way for you to max it out permanently.You do so by performing the various Burglary missions within the game, which involves breaking into people's houses at night and stealing valuable items. Once you manage to complete level 12 of these missions, you are rewarded with a completely maxed out Stamina stat, which enables you to sprint and cycle indefinitely.

Enter The Airport Without A Pilot's License: One of the many places players would want to visit in San Andreas is the Airport. Not only can you go there to fly one of the available planes, but it also has some free weapons and ramps for making unique jumps. The problem though is that it takes a fair bit of time before you get the pilot's license needed to access the place.Whenever you try to enter the airport without one, you are greeted by a locked gate and told by a guard that "This area is restricted to pilots only." However, there is a simple way to bypass security. Simply park your car next to the security booth and step out. Make sure you're close enough because you'll need to climb to the roof of your car and then jump onto the roof of the guardhouse. From there you'll be able to easily jump over the chainlink fence and into the airport. Doing so automatically grants you access to the facility, so you can go out the now open gates to retrieve your car if you like.

An amazing port of one of the best games ever made. The controls sure have a learning curve but once you get used to them they work well. The app itself crashed 3 times in a full playthrough, once when entering Ammunation and twice during turf fights but other than that all was great. The definitive edition adds only a bit to the original experience to be fair but it was enough of a refresher for an older GTA San Andreas fan. Good work.

All in all, it runs smooth, it's very playable, and it works with backbone one, so that's great. My only real complaint is that, without a controller, you can't honk your horn, there's no button for it available in on screen controls. This might seem like a weird complaint, but my favorite thing ti do in SA is run firefighter and paramedic missions, which just don't feel right without the sirens.

This is one of the best mobile games ever made! I know it's been ported to mobile, but this is amazing! I'm playing on a OnePlus 11 and this is just superb! However the battery could be optimised a little bit more, as it eats tons of batter even at 30fps. Maybe a little more optimization would help a lot Also there is no exit button as well, and I don't know how to exit the game except for minimizing it. At least give the option to go back to main menu after entering the game.

This mobile definitive of SA is much better than PC or consoles definitive. Classic lighting brings back yellowish orange hues of Los Santos & blueish starry night skies. Fog system also keeps distant objects out of view with just the silhouettes (unlike PC or consoles). Performance is also good after new update. LOD is very slow though across trilogy. Distant objects still look like molten ice-cream if u get close quickly as it takes time for textures to load. It could be quickened if possible.
