Introduction
Nubby's Number Factory is a fun pinball game where players become the owner of a factory, managing and operating it. Players need to launch different colored Nubbies to different positions on the screen to successfully merge them, earning higher scores and clearing levels for rewards. Players can spend coins in the shop to buy various items and decorations and trigger achievements, gaining an advantage in later levels. The game is constantly being updated and optimized, with more interesting levels and gameplay features being added to bring players more freshness and fun.
Gameplay of Nubby's Number Factory:
In it, players control a factory where they are tasked to launch Nubby, a living ball, into a board of pegs to generate higher and higher numbers continuously.
The pegs are all worth different amounts, and players must earn enough points to meet the quota for each round. If they fail to do so, the sun will explode. In between sets of rounds, a shop will pop up with items that grant abilities available for purchase. There's a vial underneath the quota that fills up every time the player scores points. The player wins money if they exceed the quota and fill up the vial. The game also features a perk system and special rounds to diversify runs.
Upon achieving certain thresholds players gain stars which, are spent to unlock Tonys, which are essentially slight variants to normal play acting similar to different decks in Balatro. Stars can also be spent to unlock cosmetics for Nubby and items. Other cosmetics can also be gained through achievements and the Nubby Trials. The cosmetics, achievements, and Nubby Trials were added in update 1.4 for the game, with the Nubby Trials being a normal run with trials during certain round thresholds.

Features of Nubby's Number Factory:
More than just plinko: The baseline gameplay clicks immediately if you’ve ever messed around with old arcade cabinets. You basically just drop Nubby from the top of the screen and watch as gravity drags him through a messy layout of numbered pegs. Getting a high score relies pretty heavily on sheer luck during those initial bounces, which can definitely feel frustrating if the physics don’t go your way.In Nubby’s Number Factory, every single peg adds to the current total, slowly inching closer to that round’s mandatory production quota. When a bad drop leaves the score hovering just below the required number, the threat of solar system annihilation gets very real. It takes a familiar drop-and-watch setup and injects it with a surprisingly nerve-wracking sense of dread.
Building your number engine: Between each chaotic drop, the game shifts gears into a deep deckbuilder where players spend cash at a shop offering over 50 unique items. In Nubby’s Number Factory, you can pick up modifiers that multiply the value of every fifth peg or spawn extra pegs after hitting a specific score limit. Figuring out how all these different tools interact takes some trial and error, meaning early runs will probably end in disaster.Once things start clicking, though, the goal is totally focused on building an overpowered, self-sustaining number engine. When slapping together a build in the shop menu, grabbing the right synergistic items completely rewrites how scoring works. Getting to the point where the game’s math shatters in your favor is where the real hook lies.
A trip back to flash games: Visually, this is a massive throwback to early 2000s Flash titles with its basic shapes, flat colors, and super straightforward animations. Staring at such a rudimentary art style might not appeal to gamers looking for modern, high-end graphics. However, the simple look actually fits the bizarre, surreal nature of the factory perfectly. The contrast between the basic visuals and the deadpan text explaining that the solar system will blow up never really stops being funny. Experiencing these massive stakes through such a silly lens gives the single-player mode a ton of personality. It completely leans into a weird identity instead of trying to look polished.

Useful Tips of Nubby's Number Factory:
Add Value to the Board: The number one tip is that you want to add value to your pegs. This may sound confusing since your goal is to hit them which reduces their value. However, some of the best items you can get in Nubby’s Number Factory will increase those values. Which makes for higher scores each time you hit them.In addition to getting more points per hit, you’ll also keep your board alive so you have more pegs to bounce off of. Helpful items include the Kazoo, Friendly Rock, and Pants. Whereas other items like the Laser Pointer are great too since they don’t pop pegs.
Some Items Are Better in the Early Game: The early to mid-game of a Nubby’s Number Factory run can be tough when you’re still creating your build. This is why it’s worth buying certain items temporarily. For example, the Cheese House, Finger Puppet, and Sea Cucumber are great early on. They’ll help you restock multiple times and get coins.I like to buy one or two items to get through the early rounds and then sell them later. To sell items, right-click one and then left-click it to sell it. You’ll see how much it sells for upon right-clicking it if you’re unsure. Regardless, some items fall off or are situational making for a more difficult run.
Don’t Forget to Reroll Items: When I first started Nubby’s Number Factory I didn’t use the reroll button enough. There’s no reason not to since it’s free to reroll and you can freeze items to buy later. Even if you don’t have the money, you should still reroll since there’s a chance you’ll find an item you may want later.Aside from the Nubby-Mart, you can reroll in Cafe Nubby, the Black Market, and even your peg board. However, you can only freeze items at the Nubby-Mart. To do so, drag an item from the shop onto the blue snowflake button above. This will make it stay when you reroll or leave and revisit later. Also, you can unfreeze an item by left-clicking it once.
How to Unlock Cafe Nubby: Another way to get useful perks, money, and more is via the Cafe Nubby shop. If you haven’t unlocked it before, you’d have no reason to know it exists. Fortunately, all you have to do is purchase the three locked item slots by spending five gold on each one. Make sure you don’t do it too early but once you unlock all three, you’ll have Cafe Nubby available. The Nubby-Mart button for unlocking items will then change to a door with a Cafe sign attached. If you’re having a strong run where you have too much money, this is a good place to sink your money into. My favorite items are the Tart Lard and the Shisk Kebab. However, there are a couple of other good ones too.
How to Get Money in Nubby’s Number Factory: Now that you know about rerolling and how to unlock Cafe Nubby, how do you get money to spend there? There are a few tricks to get money but the main way is via restocking. For those who are new, a restock happens whenever you reach a goal. Although, if you reach the goal multiple times, the board will restock more than once. Each restock gives you one coin.Aside from restocking, you can get money from Cafe Nubby foods like the Hotdog, Dave, and Strawberries. However, I wouldn’t waste your money on the Strawberries. Otherwise, there’s a Black Market item called the Crazy Straw that gives you a chance to earn one coin each round. I don’t like its odds so I’d probably avoid that too.

Player Comments of Nubby's Number Factory:
this game puts crack to shame. worth so much more than the humble five dollars they ask for it, if MogDogBlog asked me to be his slave for the rest of my miserable time on this earth i would not even say yes i would just start on the spot. i have never played a roguelike that was more fun and interesting than nubby. my only complaint about this game is that once i played it nothing has ever felt the same and i have been desperately chasing the feeling i had when i first played it a year ago. you have no reason to not play this because if you dont have 5 bucks you jsut should play the demo which is just as fun and has its own weird ambience to it. Nubby's Number Factory is a game made for beings outside our realm of comprehension and we as naturally sinful humans are not worthy of its existence. our savior MogDogBlog is comparable to Prometheus brining fire from the heavens in the form of this perfect game. 10/10 i would the creator.
As someone with a degree in mathematics, I have to say that this game is not a very realistic interpretation of how numbers are made. The truth is much darker, and the conditions in this number factory are better than any I've ever seen in real life. It's very un-immersive in that way, but I suppose that's the point: an ideal for us to live up to.
This game made me want to get pegged. So I encourage anyone who can peg to peg. Whilst in the process of pegging, play the game and destroy all the pegs. Be the only one pegging in the game and real life. Make a hunger games exclusively to figure out who the best pegger is. Give a ginormous cash prize for the last one standing so they may purchase pegging devices. Then they enter the game again to stop the pegging competition, then get to the end to figure out that the big bad was MogDog himself, then kill yourself to let a baby win the Peg Games. Then the baby will grow up to be the mango menace and take on MogDog they will clash and make a whole new universe producing the sequel of Nubby's Number Factory where you play as Nubby who was bolted to a cross after beating Mog for out mogging Mog and then being accused of witchcraft and treason then comes back with William Afton and Nicholas Cage linking to the Devil May Cry universe producing the long awaited sequal, Devil May Cry 6!
Nubby Number Factory. Incredible place, really the best. They make numbers, nobody makes numbers like these guys, believe me. Very strong numbers, very powerful. Other factories? Total disasters. But this one — the Nubby Number Factory — everybody’s talking about it.And the nubs, by the way, the little nubs on the numbers, people love them. They say, ‘Sir, I’ve never seen nubs like this before.’ And it’s true, folks, it’s true. These are the best nubs, maybe in the history of nubs. When you add them up — boom — you get the biggest, most beautiful totals. Very successful, very American. Tremendous stuff. Now, some people — and you know this, I know this — some people don’t like the nubs. They say the nubs are bad, they say they don’t work. Totally wrong. Fake news. Nothing bad can happen with the nubs — only good nubs happen, folks, But if you don’t like them, don’t take them. Don’t take them. But sadly, folks, you’re gonna find out you need the nubs. There’s no alternative. They’re addictive, they’re incredible — everybody says it. Even RFK says they’re good, and he’s tough, believe me. When he says the nubs are good, you know they’re really good.
Conclusion:
Nubby's Number Factory offers a fresh and engaging twist on the roguelike and plinko-style game genres. Players take control of Nubby, a charming spherical character navigating a complex pegboard to generate increasingly large numbers. The core gameplay loop revolves around strategic launches and item management to meet escalating production quotas that are critical to preventing a catastrophic event threatening the universe itself.
