Gameplay

Wuthering Waves is set in an open world. The player controls the protagonist Rover, as well as recruited allies called Resonators, which are split into 4-star and 5-star rarities.The endgame content features modes where characters can be used in a series of combat challenges.

The game's gacha system features banners known as Convenes, where Resonators and Weapons can be obtained. There are three types of Convenes: novice, event, and standard. Event Convenes are limited-time banners distinct from the permanent standard pool. They typically feature rate-up exclusive Resonators or weapons and rotate periodically as part of version updates.[citation needed] A pity system guarantees that 5-star items are obtained within a set amount of pulls.

The game features a large open world on the planet Solaris-3, with traversal mechanics designed to support various forms of exploration.Players can sprint across open fields without consuming stamina, though it drains during combat, wall-running or climbing. Additional movement options include scaling sheer walls and cliffs with the grappling hook, performing mid-air dodges and parries, and gliding from heights.

Rover

Rover is the protagonist of Wuthering Waves. This character has a five-star rating and will be a cornerstone of the story's evolution. Wielding their sword, this hero will help you forge the destiny of many other companions whose footsteps you will also guide throughout the game.

Yinlin

This enigmatic girl will also join you from the first few beats of the game and, through abilities charged with electric energy, will try to crack different enigmas. By exploring distinct elements, this five-star hero will uncover disguised aspects that shed light on the story's hidden events.

Jiyan

Bravely wielding his broadblade, Jiyan will also ensure that the city of Jinzhou is safe from evil. This five-star mutant allows you to employ the aero attribute, which will be very helpful in deploying powerful defensive tactics.

Works fine at 60 hertz with my Galaxy S21 with mid graphics settings. Well I prefer Genshin's element reaction system, the combat in Wuthering Waves is game is just as much, if not more focused on learning your enemy as it is on your character. The music is above average, the story is good enough so far, and most importantly there is a dialog skip button! Daily missions can't be autoed but take maybe 5 minutes. Devs seem to listen and care about the players.

Amazing combat system, visuals, and story. The world is vibrant and still growing. I play it manly on My PlayStation 5 however it runs perfectly fine on my phone. Plus they give you settings that allow you to optimize the game to yield the best results. The idea that this game is a "gooner" needs to end. Y'all act like "anime" type games haven't been doing fan service since forever. It's simply a wonderful game ??. Can't say it's a bad game by definition. It gives you what you're seeking.

I am really enjoying this game. The world is beautiful and large with plenty of puzzles and hidden treasures to discover. My first pulled character Phoebe made traversing the map faster and is very fun to play on mobile and PC. The combat is simple for a beginner but has depth as you learn more mechanics. I hope more players discover this gem and support the company because I look forward to many more updates in the future.
