Introduction
Vector Classic is an action-adventure game designed for parkour enthusiasts. Players are thrust into a dystopian future where every move is monitored, taking on the role of a rebel defying an authoritarian regime. You must navigate city streets and rooftops, utilizing parkour skills and power-ups to evade capture, all while aiming for three-star ratings and rich rewards. The game features tutorials for newcomers and introduces high-difficulty daily challenges, allowing players to push their parkour limits and achieve higher scores while keeping the gameplay experience fresh and engaging.
Manuals of Vector Classic:
Jump: Swipe up.
Slide: Swipe down.
Trick: Swipe up in time with the trick picture.
Roll: Automatically operates when falling from a certain height.
Sprint: Swipe in the forward direction where there are three arrows in a row. If you hit an obstacle or a wall during this, you will retire, so be careful. If you jump at this time, you will roll regardless of the height.
Slow Down: While sprinting, swipe in the opposite direction you are moving forward. There is nothing to write about until story 11 of the downtown section.
Wall Run, Wall Climb: Jump in front of a wall. If you are falling or touch the wall after reaching the maximum height of the jump, you will not be able to overcome gravity and will hang on the edge of the cliff, wasting time, so you must accurately calculate the distance or formula line. If you are careful, you may be caught by the hunter.
Tic-Tac: Slide in the opposite direction the character is facing during a wall run. It does not appear until you enter the construction site.
Pop Vault: Slide upward at a reasonable distance from a place that rises high like a pillar.
Speed Vault: Slide up in front of a desk or similar sized obstacle. If it's too close, it won't work.
Kong Vault/Cat Pass: Slide upwards right in front of the part that extends one step above, like stairs.

Features of Vector Classic:
Whether players are resilient enough to conquer all 40 challenging levels in Vector Classic, this is not just a game to show off your parkour level; this is a chase with the Big Brother gang. So speed is the first factor, pay attention to running fast and avoid all obstacles on the road. Cross tall buildings, run away in dungeons. There will be many sharp obstacles, and you have to overcome them by launching and skillfully wriggling. Each complex move you perform will be scored twice.
The maker not only provides dexterous movements, but we also add more missions for you to perform. The dungeon will not have too many barriers, so players do not have to use too many dodging techniques. However, this is a playroom that requires the use of a rotation technique in a narrow space, paying attention to performing the movement correctly to avoid hitting the wall. Besides, climbing will also take on a whole new color in Vector Classic. We don’t just give you a mere climbing experience, and players must demonstrate the entire mode of movement on the console to conquer heights of more than a thousand meters.
Quickly escape the chase with speed in each important race. Some notes for parkour players are overcoming small challenges to quickly save time. Instead, choose to show more techniques to get through buildings. If you feel that you are not enough to show your talent, choose a more straightforward and safer way to overcome obstacles. In addition, the training mode also gives us more experiences and exciting exercises to practice and improve our skills.

Useful Tips of Vector Classic:
Figure out how to best hold your controller in a way that is comfortable and works best for you. We each hold our controller (original Vectrex controller) in Completely Different Ways: vectorgirl plays Vectrexagon with her right hand on buttons 2 & 3 with the controller flat on a table, held steady with her left hand. Vectronic plays Vectrexagon with the controller in his lap, tilted so the joystick is pointed toward the Vectrex (90° tilt forward), with left-hand index finger on button 2 and right-hand index finger on button 3. This seems to combat and fix slight moments of dyslexia if that might affect you when playing this game. Right hand moves you to the right, Left hand moves you to the left. Alternately, the Joystick can be used for turning but we have both found that at longer game times, this just is not a feasible way to play the game. The controls are very smooth, but after awhile the Joystick seems "floaty" and the buttons seem more precise.
Try to limit your game-play sessions to 30 minutes or less. We know this is pretty difficult to do when you first get the game and realize how awesome it is, but giving your eyes and brain a break will only help you. Stop playing as soon as you start to see a general decrease in your score; odds are you won't improve once it starts dropping repeatedly. A lot of our Hi-Scores are set in the first few fresh play-throughs, then eventually drop off. Plus, by 30 minutes your eyes really start to dry-out and that works against you too; especially in this game. When your scores are constantly decreasing, you are past the point where you are focusing completely. Take the advice of the Lord Humongous and "Just walk away". ;)
Don't look at your score while playing! Ever! No really - Don't! This is really just a distraction, especially the further you go. The music itself will let you know how far you have gotten; new music means new Hi-Score! Unless you listen to it ALL in the "About" section of the game - Don't do that! Let new sections of the music track be it's own reward. That motivated us as we wondered how long the music would run for without repeating, and if & when the awesome music would ever repeat itself. Just go with the flow as long as you can and don't get too excited when you hear something new. Only look at the score and celebrate after your game is finished. Both of us have actually gotten to the point where we know, within seconds, based on when the music stops, what the others' score was. (It's become like a sort of meta-game for us to do this and shout out estimated times from across the house and see how close we were). (And we play with the Volume cranked-up LOUD because this game deserves it!!!)
Reversals (180° turns) are tricky! The hardest move you can make in Vectrexagon is a 180° turn/spin. The best option is to try to always set yourself up to avoid this move. But it's not always possible! Sometimes the randomly generated lines/walls throw this move one after another at you! When that happens you have to act quick and know how long to hold that button press, or get pinched. To overcome those, you need to see them ahead of time and plan accordingly, or you will not have enough time to get out.
Although the lines/walls are randomly generated (yes, there is no sequential order to memorize), the music track and line/wall-to-center points are constant. This means that while no two games will generate the same line/walls, the point where the line/walls touch the center to the music, remains the same. So, knowing this, and knowing the music, you will know exactly where the game (based on music cues) will start pulsating, switch the rotation direction left or right, or constantly spin. Knowing this helps you prepare for the next move and not get pinched.

Player Comments of Vector Classic:
I want to look up my fastest times for each level. Sadly, there is no way to do so now aside from manually recording each run. The speed running scene could be revitalized if you just add such capability. Just two tines, one for the fastest run and another for the fastest 3 star run... Per player, that's 33 for 3 star normal, 33 for 3 star hard, and 33 for fastest per map... Only a hundred lines of text. That's parely 2KB of data for each player...
This is my favorite game because it is so fun. I love the parkour and also the music it is so good. I don't like that they deleted the character customization. Honestly the old version was five stars perfect. I also don't like that you can just go to Technology Park without finishing Construction Yard. They also deleted Vector 2 from the Play Store the new update I like the old version was way better because of nostalgia, and the main menu makes my phone lag more than the other one did.
As a kid in 2013 this game was absolutely phenomenal and now as an adult I have come back to have a glimpse of nostalgia once again, I support the developers and appreciate their time that they spent making this game. Absolute banger of a game.
Honestly, I want to start by appreciating the amazing developers of Vector. This game has always held a special place in my heart. I was only 7 years old when it first came out and my elder brother taught me how to play it. I grew up loving it and anytime I got a new phone, I always install it. The soundtrack, storyline, stunts, graphics etc are outstanding. I still love it and I appreciate the updates. Even in the future, Vector will always be my number 1 and I’ll keep recommending it to others.
