Level up your creatures frequently. You don’t want a huge deck of useless fighter - you want a smaller deck of strong creatures. It’ll work more efficiently and you won’t have to worry about those all-important gems being used up to buy more storage space.

Replay old missions. It’s usually pretty easy to do, plus you can gain new creatures and money through going back.
