Cargo space/equipment slots - Even a fighting centered ship like the Dark Angel (85 cargo space without the Kaamo Club upgrade) can become a viable trading ship with 3 or more Rhoda Blackholes. This is because each Rhoda Blackhole increases the ships' cargo capacity by 100%. (Example: a Dark Angel with 3 Rhoda Blackholes will have a total of 340 cargo space.)

Primary weapons/secondary weapons - More is better. Some ships do sacrifice secondary weapon slots for primary weapon slots or vice versa.

Turrets - Some people love turrets, others don't. This is a personal choice.

Hull/Maneuverability - More is better. This comes down to your fighting style; the only way to know is to try out several ships. Shields, Armor, and Thrusters can improve these factors.

I love this game. it crashed on me a while back and had to reinstall. Lost all my game data, but I've played it so long that I forgot how the beginning was. So I dont mind doing it over, especially since I get the controls better. I wish the company still made games. but they arent developing anymore. So no more updates or support. So you play until it crashes. I made it a few years. You should be good.

This is by far one of the best android games I've ever played, and I've played a lot! What's more its free with no ads. There are optional add ons (dlc) for real money. But you don't ever have to spend anything. It's great fun to trade, mine asteroids, complete missions & make enough money to buy a new ship or upgrade your existing one. This game looks great & plays well, it's awesome!

The best mobile game out there. There's lots to do in the base game, let alone the DLC. The campaign missions introduce you to the various aspects of the game and have some nice action sequences to take part in. Then there's all the side content. Side missions, an alignment system with the 4 factions, equipment crafting, rooting out pirate bases, raiding convoys, hidden systems, acivements. This game has it all without feeling overwhelming. Definitely try it out.
