Marooned is an open-world survival adventure game that places players in perilous environments across the globe, where they must survive for as long as possible—completely devoid of tools or outside assistance. Each location offers a vast area to explore; once players have selected a campsite and built a campfire, they can begin their journey—scavenging for resources to craft containers and traps, protecting themselves from wild beasts, and maintaining their health. Mechanics of Marooned:

Marooned’s innovative mechanics remove all conveniences that modern-day games have. You play as Ed who’s rudely dropped in an apparel-less state in the wild and pioneering new gameplay mechanics. The main loop of the game centers around the enjoyment gained from managing resources and taking note of the surroundings. The first and most important step to ensuring your survival is operating out of a secure base, and the most important part of that base is your shelter to protect you from the weather and the predators of the night.

When you begin your exploration of the vast open world, you have a number of things that you have to manage, one of these things is your health through the metabolism. Of all these things that you have to manage, the most important one is satisfying your thirst, and hunger. This is a tactical game that will be a race against time. One of the most distinct gameplay mechanics is of the system that governs hunting. Your success in the hunt will depend on your level of patience. You will have to be very deliberate in stalking your prey, and your final attack on your prey will depend on your skill level in the throwing mechanics of the game. The importance of every action you take cannot be understated be it a decision to explore a part of the world, or to reinforce your base. The depth of strategy is increased even further by the weather system of the game. The weather system will require you to adjust your plans and use some resources to hunt or explore. Protecting your base and using your resources wisely will be the keys to your success.

Features of Marooned:

Massive Environments: Every location isn’t just big—it’s wide open and full of possibilities. Set up camp pretty much wherever you like, build a fire when the sun dips, or plop down a trap wherever you spot signs of animals. The world’s huge, so wandering in the dark? Whip out a torch or get creative to light your way.

Secret Quests: Each area has hidden missions tucked away, waiting to be found. They’re not marked in big neon letters—you’ve got to notice the clues or trigger special events to track them down. Land one, and you’ll snag unique rewards you can’t get anywhere else.

Hunting Skills Matter: You can’t just grab a burger—food’s out there, and you’ll have to work for it! Craft throwable tools like bamboo forks and bows, then use ‘em to catch everything from creek fish to quick little rabbits darting through grass.

Dangerous Wildlife Encounters: Sometimes, it’s not just you and the scenery. After a few days, you might get a scare from wolves in the jungle, a croc in the swamp, or hyenas on the plains. If you’ve got tools handy, maybe stand your ground. Otherwise… run!

currently awaiting import review to be accepted so I can get back to the nightmare and one higher level and have access to the gold rocks (or whatever they are) that i paid for. I do love this game; I've been playing off and on for several years, and the customer service ppl are super fast at finding solutions to any problems that may arise (encountering any problems are almost nonexistent!) in less than 2 hours I had a response and in less than 4 hours my issue was resolved.

i always like survival game and this game is perfectly match what i like. the difficulty, the graphics the gameplay is very enjoyable and i often play it to kill time. it would be nice if you can play with other people globally. i wanted to play with other people but my family won't understand this game so I'm playing solo now. Thanks for the great game and i hope the dev will make this game more enjoyable.

This game is challenging, yet very fun. The aiming to kill the dangerous and bigger animals is too hard for me, but not too bad when I want to kill a smaller, slower animal. I just run and hope I don't die lol. I've spent a few days and several hours enjoying this game. I just wish I could kill the bigger animals and not have to run. Also wish he moved a bit faster and maybe actually ran instead of walked at a very slow pace.

This game is awesome. My mom was the one who actually got me into it, and it's not easy. It's like surviving in the darn wild. you have to eat properly, and fight for your own food. my only issue is time between day and night, the fact day is so short, but I like the fact I can skip stuff with ads (#ExtremelyImpatient). Online mode is fun, playing with ma and my little brother. 10/10, if you're looking for an actual challenge. Yet if you don't like it because it's too hard, don't complain.

Throughout the game you may choose from several locations on the Map to explore.  This walkthrough is only one of several ways that you can travel through this game. The traditional hidden object list will have different items each time you play the game.  The items on the list in your game may not be the same ones shown in this walkthrough.

THE BEACH – WHERE AM I?

Find each item on the list to unlock the shovel.

Use the shovel to dig up the crate in the center of the scene.

Find the crowbar to go into your inventory.

Use the crowbar to open the crate and discover the journal.

Read the journal entry and close the journal to complete the scene.

You will be taken to the map of the island where you can choose your next location.

THE BEACH – SOLAR PANELS

Find 15 solar panels to unlock the solar panel to go into your inventory.

Find the screwdriver to go into your inventory. The screwdriver will be used in another scene.

Go to the Boathouse.

BOATHOUSE – FIRST VISIT

Find each item on the list to unlock the computer password code.

Take the solar panel from your inventory and put it on the roof with the other solar panels. 

Use the screwdriver from your inventory to open the computer case.

Find the hook and the banana to go into your inventory.

Place the hook on the rope underneath the electrical box and they will combine and go into your inventory.

Go back to the Beach.

BEACH – FEED THE MONKEY

Give the banana to the monkey in the upper left tree and it will move away.

Use the hook and rope to get the backpack in the upper left tree

Discover more information for your journal.  Close the journal.

Take the tape from the backpack to complete the scene.

Go back to the Boathouse.

One of the foremost alluring focuses that this amusement can bring to its players is the gameplay component planned within the survival role-playing fashion.
