If you play the demo of Lewd Mod, you just get to experience the first day. Basically, we have just gotten a pretty awesome new job working for a social media platform called SelfieBook. It is kind of like Facebook meets Tinder meets Snapchat. The job that we have taken is all about looking through the posts that people are putting onto SelfieBook and then we have to decide if they are appropriate or not. It is the kind of thing that sounds so simple, but it works very, very well thanks to the incredible writing.

We are not just thrown out there and expected to sink or swim on our own in Lewd Mod. We have a boss and she is pretty awesome. Our boss will teach us what is lewd and what is not by showing all kinds of naughty images with us so that we get an idea of what to look for. What I loved about this was that the boss actually felt like a real person! She has this naughty/flirty attitude about her that is impossible not to love and you feel like you get to know her better and what makes her tick the more you progress through the game. The demo gives you an idea of this, but trust me when I tell you that the full experience here is truly outstanding and some of the best writing I have experienced in a lewd game.

One thing that I think may put people off from trying out Lewd Mod is the art style. This game has a very unique look to it. None of the selfies that we see have any major facial features and the whole thing has a very minimalistic style going on. It is the kind of art style that will catch your eye, but it is also something that I am sure will not click with some people, especially those who prefer more realistic looking visuals in their lewd games. I for one, love this! I think it is so stylish and helps give the game a ton of personality, plus some of the images we see are pretty damn hot too, especially those our flirty boss shares with us!

The gameplay style of Lewd Mod is certainly that of a lewd visual novel, but the way it is presented to you makes it feel unique and fresh. Yes, at its core, you are still just picking what you feel is the appropriate response to the situation that you are in. However, the way the whole thing looks like it is taking place on a phone screen is really cool. We will have to check various posts and decide if we think that they are ok, but we are also in regular contact with our flirty boss and we have to pick what we want to say to her. It is the kind of thing that is made even more addictive thanks to the fantastic writing.
