Took The Words Right Out of My Mouth

There is one thing with the story and all of the dialogue in general that I have to give Crystal Springs Odyssey a lot of credit for and that is the pacing. Overall, I would say that this is a bit of a slow burn when it comes to the story. However, I mean that in the most positive way as this is not too “wordy” and it does not have a ton of dialogue just for the sake of doing so. Most of the stuff that is said between the characters in this game is straight to the point and that is something which I do appreciate.

Tonight At 10 On MTV!

I can see why some people would not love the art style of Crystal Springs Odyssey, but I love it! It has a kind of early 00s or late 90s MTV animated series vibe about it. I like how bright and colorful everything is and the fact that these ladies have these exaggerated dream bodies with huge boobs and asses is awesome, even if it does make the MC look rather small in comparison. The lewd content is great too, I even liked how the facials would change, giving the characters more personality as a result. The MC does have a massive exaggerated penis, but to be fair, it fits with the exaggerated bodies that the ladies have so I think it works out well.

Variety Really Is The Spice Of Life

Gameplay wise, Crystal Springs Odyssey is pretty much all here. I am sure more stuff is going to be added, but the core of what makes this game feels like it is all in place. It plays like a lewd point-and-click adventure game. You will have to chat with characters and there is a dialogue tree here. You also have to find and use items in the right place as well as make and manage money. There are even some fun mini-games that may be basic, but they do not overstay their welcome. I had read some stuff about the game being buggy. I am not sure if that was an older version, but I never encountered any problems with the gameplay.
