Every time a new one comes out it is a no brainer to purchase. Intuitive, challenging, and full of charm and humor. If you love strategy and tower games, this one is a no brainer. 10/10, can't recommend it enough.

the kingdom rush series has a deserved reputation for high quality TD games, so if that appeals to you, you should like this. It is a bit annoying that you pay for the app and there are still heroes, towers, and campaigns that you have to pay for, especially to have to pay as much as they want; if I'm seeing things correctly, it would cost another $58 on top of the $7 for the app to unlock everything. That said, it's still a good game and worth playing.

I am a big fan of KR. vengeance was a bit of a let down but Alliance has to a good extent made up for this. the The two-hero design, the movement of reinforcements, and the diversity of towers are all good. The Easter eggs on the levels add fun. I still prefer the 8-tower flexibility of the first three KRs, as I think that allowed you to adapt your strategy during the game as opposed to committing to towers from the start.
