Cats the Commander

Cats the Commander is a casual strategy game where players recruit numerous cats to build their feline army and battle against waves of enemies. Each cat possesses unique skills, and players can use appropriate weapons and magic to enhance their cats, gaining a greater advantage in battle. The game is not only small in size but also only takes a few minutes to complete a match, making it perfect for a quick game during leisure time.

Mechanics of Cats the Commander:

When beginning a level, you are greeted with your commander and a level 1 Cat POW, with your money set its current maximum. From here you summon units, which cost money, known as Cat Power, Cat POW, or CP, to defeat the enemies presented to you in the form of waves and stages. Waves are the individual battles that take place, while the stages are the grouping they are put in. The majority of stages after the first few levels contain two to three stages. Whenever an enemy hits your commander, you lose one heart (which you have three). After you run out of hearts, you fail the mission and can choose to retry, quit the mission, or ask for help.

What can be done when failing a quest: When you fail a level you can retry it from the place you were with Cat POW level max for the price of 10 gems, you can use a recovery gem to get all the items and gold you got from the quest instead of losing them or you can request for salvage, which has a max time limit of 180 minutes before counted as failed mission and it will let the team that was doing the quest unavaiable for usage until someone rescues you or the timer runs out, you can send your salvage ID anywhere for people to help you and make your items and gold recovery request (salvage) faster

Tension gear: It increases the speed of the battle as you kill enemies, you can pause it while battle to conserve its amount so it doesn't decrease, max level is 7 and when it gets to level 7 it can't decrease, so, if you want to slow down you need to click on it while in battle to deactivate it and click again to activate it.

Bank: A piggy bank that gives you gold over time every hour, with a cool down of 15 minutes, and increasing production by 10k gold/hour for every rank. If you are rank 2, you get 20k an hour, if you are rank 60, you get 600k an hour, and so on.

I've been playing this on my phone for about a couples weeks or so, and I gotta say...ITSFUN! I love the unique mechanics, strategies, and stupid cats and it's going to take funeffort to collect all of them. The mechanics of weapons and badges is a fun quirk that makes thisstand out, and honestly it feels more like an adventure then battle acts does. Music? At.It takes RPG aspects and puts them with a twist, the type combos allow for strategy andto encourage Ticket Spending, and GOD THIS GAME IS JUST GOOD!Overall I would sayBattle Cats is the superior game but DEFINATLY TRY CATS THE COMMANDER!!

I play both this and Battle Cats in tandem and really enjoy both of them. Honestly in someways Cats the Commander might be the improvement, auto-battle isn't a resource youcan run out of, replaying already beaten levels has a built in speed-up function, gettingthe in-game currency (gems) for free is much easier than getting it in Battle Cats (catfood), unit designs vary a lot more than Battle Cats, and you are able to unlock U.S.Runits of your choice after opening enough gatchas which Battle Cats does not have.However it is a lot less strategic than Battle Cats which might become boring for somepeople but the biggest issue is the performance sometimes. I will give them the benefitof the doubt since my iPhone is rather old but my game freezes constantly and evenslows down my iPhone itself in which case it takes an annoyingly long time to close andre-open the app. I have never had a problem even remotely similar with Battle Cats. Inconclusion, if you like Battle Cats at all you owe it to yourself to at least try Cats theCommander, it's different enough and is almost like a sudo-unofficial-sequel in a way,other than the performance issues it's a near perfect mobile game that needs a lot moremuch needed love, especially in the fan-art department.

l love the game and it's really fun I do hate that if you delete the app you loose all thedata for your current profile because I just accidentally deleted it and now I have to startall over and also just today it says the game has to be updated but when I look on theApp Store there is nothing saying it has to be updated. Now to all the people who thinkthis is an exact ripoff of the battle cats...: THIS IS NOT AN EXSCT RIPOFF IT HASCOMPLETELY DIFFERENT MECHANICS THE ONLY TUING THEY SHARE IS THE DATDANKON LIKE THING AND THE GACHA BUT OTHERWISE THE CLASSES WEAPONS ANDMECHANICS ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM BATTLE CATS I will say this is aBATTLE CATS INSPIRED GAMES but not a ripoff you guys need to figure out thedifference of A rip off game and an inspired by e game.
