Kingdom Rush Frontiers is a popular war strategy game that offers players levels of varying difficulty, diverse defensive towers, heroes, and new enemies, providing a more challenging adventure. At the start of each level, players must spend a limited amount of gold to build defensive towers at key locations on the map, eliminating waves of enemies and gaining gold and experience points to upgrade their towers and heroes, dealing greater damage. There is not much difference from the basic gameplay of the previous Kingdom Rush, so please refer to the relevant section for detailed tips. Here, we mainly describe the differences and additional elements from the previous work.

Compared to the previous work, the attack power of the enemies was very high and more often attacked, resulting in a significant decrease in the value of the barrack tower. There are even many enemies who sniper barracks, so they can't use them. The artillery tower has no problem in performance, but the upgrade price is expensive, so the wave can be installed and used only after the wave. On the contrary, because of the low defense and high stamina, the archer tower, which has a very high DPS, is cheaper and has no special abilities, is outstanding in the series. The Wizard Tower has been nerfed to reduce the defense and slow characteristics of the scam, but it is still used as a semi -forced tower of the head of the barracks.

Overall, the specifications of enemies have increased. Not only have health and damage, but also added a variety of special abilities. Because of this, the moving of the hero and the appropriate construction of the tower are important. In addition, the tower with immediate fraud has also been reduced from three to two, and even the tower is impossible to attack and in many ways.[1] It is not an environment to depend on immediate fraud.

The hero system has been drastically changed. In the previous work, all maps started with level 1 and the level was reset when the map was finished, but in this work, once the level is raised, it is fixed.

Every time you upgrade, heroes get hero points and can be fostered by investing points freely in five skills. Skill points, like the stars you get when you clear the map, can reset and give points again at any time. Of course, as the hero's level does not initialize and leads to other maps, the hero's experience is very slightly higher, unlike the previous map. If you leveling at the last stage of the jungle where you can block the entrance, you can raise 2 levels per crab.

The rate at which heroes' HP is recovered in non-combat mode has been more than twice as slow as in the previous game.

Useful Tips of Kingdom Rush Frontiers:

When starting, I suggest focusing on leveling up Alric’s Sand Warriors, Flurry, and Toughness abilities- The game isn’t too hard in the beginning. Still, having a mobile barracks tower and damage dealing hero is a strong combo which can last you through the entire game. The Sand Warriors are able to flow from Alric and stop once they hit an enemy. You can keep Alric all the way at the gate and these guys will run to the top of the map. Alric is mostly a tank, but Flurry allows him to nuke smaller enemies and retain his health pool. I rate Cronan and Bruxa as better overall heroes, but Alric’s no slouch.

The Gnome Shop is the same, and I recommend Chill Wands- You will get the most bang for your buck from the Chill Wand. I stand by this recommendation.

The Upgrades are different because the final towers are different- The procedure of leveling is up to your play style. I recommend upgrading meteors, then archers, and then mixing up the last few until only the Reinforcement upgrades are left. Once again, you can reset your upgrades at any time so feel free to play around with them.

My favorite towers- The Advanced Towers have more variance behind their abilities in this game. The Assassin Towers have a chance at dodging, the Knights Templar have a chance to revive, and the archers can throw axes. Yup. Just upgrade to the Tribal Axethrowers and your soldiers will be chucking axes and totems. My favorite towers in the game are the Assassin’s Guild, Archmage, Battle Mecha T-200, and the Crossbow Fort due to their constant utility. Assassin’s can give you more gold. MORE GOLD! What’s not to love? The Archmage deals huge single target damage and uses twister to carry your foes back to Kansas. The Battle Mecha can WALK, fire missiles, and do cool stuff. Think of it as a bombard tower with more versatility and range. The Crossbow Fort is solid. It has good range and damage while it also buffs adjacent towers. The other towers require a proper map to utilize their abilities well.

The Second of the title and wonderfully so. This one introduced badass designs and quite a wonderful challenge. This one had a good hero roster, even among the free ones, not only that but also the Towers are just chef kiss! I wish I could stop there but the mini campaigns on this is just epic and rightfully so. Especially the one with the beach, posed a good balance of theme and challenge. This one is epic and it has the fan favourite Bonehart too. Still this ranks 3rd.. see you on next review!

me as a veteran Iron Hide's games player, i want to say thank you for this developer, it such a perfect game i've ever played in my life. it's simple but we have to think about the strategy and sometimes you have to thinking more harder to solve the stage. for me, it's not just a game it's like a brain learner? not just that, the graphic was soo amazing for a simple game like this. i think that's it from me, i just want to say thank you so much for make my childhood.

I played Kingdom Rush from the very start and it was always a great pleasure. Never makes you unhappy. Great game, great mechanics and great opportunity behind this series. I just hope we can customize our tower powers and levels more and maybe story based dialogs between heroes and npcs would be awesome.! Just some ideas. All and all this us just a wonderful and pretty game. And I think this studio will figure out how to make good RTS for mobiles. (You should check Iron Marine too)

It's easily the best Kingdom Rush game out there. The towers and enemies are extremely powerful yet balanced to where the game never feels too easy. The animation is unique and helps immerse you in various environments that add to the aestic feel to the game. Not to mention, it has some of the most entertaining boss fights I've ever done with one pinning you against the literal embodiment of darkness in a cavern ridden with alien-like beings..
