Modes of Honor of Kings:

Rift of Kings (5v5): Rift of Kings (known as Hero's Gorge in the international release) is the most commonly played game mode. This mode is used in KPL competitions, the ranked game mode using the same game map (see Ranked below). Ten players, each controlling a hero, are split into two opposing teams of five. The teams start on opposing ends of the map, with the victory conditions either being to destroy the enemy's defense turrets in order to reach and destroy the enemy nexus base. To destroy the enemy nexus base, teams must destroy defense turrets, which are situated on the three main lanes—the "clash" lane, the middle lane, and the "farm" lane—used to reach the enemy's nexus base. Nexus bases can restore health points slowly but defense turrets cannot.Heroes are protected by minions, which are periodically sent from the team's base. Without the protection of minions, heroes can be damaged by turrets. Turrets prioritize enemy minions within their vicinity, but will immediately target enemy heroes if they attack allied heroes within the turret's range. Each player can increase their hero's level and gain coins by killing enemy minions, heroes, or wild creatures situated between lanes, a wild area known as the 'jungle'.Some creatures in the wild area also have certain status effects benefits ('buffs') which increase their hero's attributes. There are five kinds of buffs: blue, red, tyrant, overlord, and tempest dragon (the strongest). For example, the blue buff is used to regenerate or improve mana, a resource which many mages and assassins use. The red buff is used to decrease the moving speed of the enemies, and it also deals a few 'real damage' (i.e., it cannot be blocked by shield and defense points), which is useful for warriors and marksmen. Both types of buffs last for 80 seconds.

Infinite Brawl (5v5): The basic rules are similar to Valley of Kings; however, this game mode has a faster pace. The defense turret has lower health, and the minions move faster. Every hero starts at level 2 and can gain gold and levels faster. The average game time is ten minutes. Buffs are created randomly every two minutes, such as the cooling down time of abilities shortened by 40%, the damage of abilities increased by 30%, the movement of heroes increased by 150 points, or the attack speed of the turret decreased by 50%.Additional abilities include a hook, which can drag an opponent to the player's side, and invisibility, which is removed when the player fights or goes near an opponent. This game mode requires players to dynamically adjust tactics according to buffs to achieve victory.

Dreamland Clash (5v5): In this mode, the game randomizes heroes. Players can spend diamonds to reroll a new random hero, putting the unchosen one into a selection pool from which their teammates can choose. If the player leaves the spawn area, they will not be allowed to buy weapons until respawn. The arena only has one middle lane and a path that can generate healing or buffs. As time goes on, the path will collapse and there will be one main lane to fight on. The minions are slightly different as well. Some minions have a healing sign; if killed by a hero, it drops a healing prop. When a player destroys their opponent's second turret, special minions with more attacking damage are generated.

King's Chess: King's Chess is an auto battler, with eight players each match. Each turn, players are presented with five random cards representing different heroes, for which players can pay gold to purchase the heroes and place them on their own chess board. More powerful heroes cost more gold. Each hero starts with one star, and having three same heroes grants this hero two stars. The maximum star level is three. After each player places their heroes on the board, there are fights of heroes between two players, with the defeated player losing health points. The fights take turns until the last player stands. The ranking system is similar to Ranked Matching (5v5).

Fiery Mountain Battle (5v5): This arena is circular and divided into three main lanes (top, middle, and bottom). Each player will spawn in either location A or B randomly. Each player starts with 800 initial gold, level 2, and an additional ability of fireball. Locations 1, 2, and 3 will spawn jungle creatures. Outside each lane is filled with lava which slows and damages players. Each game has a time limit of ten minutes; the first team to reach thirty kills wins immediately.

Features of Honor of Kings:

Perfect touchscreen controls: The controls in Honor of Kings are very comfortable and perfectly adapted to touchscreen devices. On the left side of the screen is where you will find the virtual movement stick, while on the right side, you will see the action buttons. Keep in mind that these buttons will be unlocked as you gain experience and level up. Just above the stick on the left side of the screen, you will see the different items (weapons, accessories, armor) that you can purchase during each battle. Finally, you will have a button in the upper right corner to quickly access the options menu.

Fast-paced, hectic battles: Unlike most MOBAs for PC and Mac, battles in Honor of Kings last only around fifteen to twenty minutes. Some games may be even shorter if one of the two teams plays particularly well. In any case, your objective in the game is to destroy the crystal in the enemy base before your opponents do the same to yours. To complete this objective, as veterans of the genre will know, the most important component is playing very well individually and learning to coordinate with the other players on your team. Only by working together as a unit can you be victorious against high-level opponents. Those who go it alone don't usually get very far in this genre.

A host of heroes to choose from: In Honor of Kings, you will find over a hundred different heroes, divided into the categories typical of the genre: tank, warrior, assassin, mage, marksman, and support. Learning to play each of these roles takes time, as your role during a confrontation will vastly differ from when you control a tank to when you are playing as a support. Each hero also has their own set of skills, so you will have to learn what they do and make sure to use them at the right time. Unleashing the right skill at the right time can mean the difference between victory and defeat.

Several game modes to choose from: The traditional Honor of Kings game mode is the classic 5v5. Most game modes follow this pattern, but there are exceptions. You will also be able to enjoy special 1v1 or 3v3 duels, which, of course, offer a much faster gameplay experience. On the other hand, Arcade Modes tend to provide more casual gameplay, away from the traditional gameplay loop, with all kinds of special rules and conditions that bring a great variety to each mode. In addition, new game modes are constantly being added as new updates are launched.

Tips of Honor of Kings:

Firstly, no lane stealing here so have fun playing your designated/preferred role as you matchmake without a problem most if not all the time.

Try to main 2 roles Climbing to diamong you could probably one trick pony each role or because skill level is still low you can even test heroes in ranked matches.

Farm lane is not OP like ML you are hella painful but hella squishy. Expect that everyone is looking to kill you. Practice good distance and map awareness or else you will feed.

Know your enemy. This will take time. I suggest everytime a hero interests you or pisses you off. Look them up to understand how they work so you can use or work around them in the future. First time I played characters would confuse me and I wouldnt know who the f was approaching me.

Personally, I think this game is more team oriented than ML. Watch how your teammates move, respond, ping and communicate accordingly. SoloQ sucks but you can make it work if you are willing to not let frustration get the better of you most times. Other times, well that's just horrid luck.

Don't get fixated on kills. Fights here move and end fast. If you get caught you either won clash or died. If you have an escape, keep that in mind if you are doing something dangerous to avoid over committing.

Brush camping is a bitch move but it works especially for many mid heroes. Easy way to rank up early on.

Roamer is not your farm lane support it is your team support. If he leaves farm alone. Play safe in farm unless you are confident. Look both ways before fighting.

Roamer must create opportunities for your team in any lane when you can or even disrupt their jungler's rotation.

Clash lane is not like other moba games. It is hard to be impactful, it is not "safe" lane. Be aware of your matchup and use the clash lane teleport as needed by your team.

Go for towers as priority one whenever you can

Yellow or Purple. Early game seems like most agree yellow is the way to go especially if you need an edge in a clash. Purple for the wave clear.

I love this game so much! It is so fun I love playing Angela it is an easy character and I always win it! Tbh this is way more better than mobile legends and cod idk why so much people hate it but I love it so much!
