Strategies of DIGIMON UP:

Understand the Core Progression Loop: The easiest way to understand Digimon UP is to think of it as several progression systems working together. Your Partner Digimon grows through training, feeding, and Digivolution. Support Digimon and Skill Cards expand your combat setup, while the Hologram Device provides equipment and Plugins to improve your stats.Meanwhile, story stages unlock additional features and give you access to stronger progression options. The early game is less about finding one perfect upgrade and more about opening these systems in the right order.

Push Guide Quests First: The early Guide Quests introduce several of the game’s major systems and unlock additional capacity as you progress. The Skill Card system becomes available early, followed by Support Digimon and additional slots at later milestones.Because of this, avoid spending too much time optimizing a roster before these systems are unlocked. Complete the introductory Guide Quests alongside your main-stage progress and let the game gradually expand your options.

Collect AFK Rewards Before They Cap: The idle system lets your account generate rewards while you are away, but accumulation is limited. Current progression systems cap idle rewards after eight hours, so leaving the game untouched for longer than that means losing potential income. These rewards provide useful resources such as Hologram Tickets, Bits, and other progression materials, making them one of the easiest sources of passive account growth.

Choose Your Partner Digimon Carefully: Your Partner Digimon sits at the center of your account. Early in the game, you will choose a Partner line featuring familiar Digimon such as Agumon, Gabumon, and Veemon, along with other available options. You will spend a considerable amount of time training and Digivolving this character, so choose a line you genuinely enjoy. Check out our Digimon UP Tier List to get some ideas. 

Feed Your Partner and Maintain the Farm: The virtual-pet side of Digimon UP is directly tied to progression. Your Partner’s development relies partly on resources produced through the Digi Farm/Meat Field system. You grow Digimeat, harvest it, and use it to feed your Partner and activate useful effects. Whenever you harvest, start another planting cycle when possible. Keeping the farm productive ensures that your Partner continues receiving the resources needed for growth.

New "Dark Area" Content

Players can now unlock the even more difficult "Dark Area" content with bosses that are stronger than those in regular stages.

Take out these bosses and you’ll not only be able to get items like those from regular stages, but you’ll also be able to get new enhancement materials.

Dark Data: Enhancement material used for new "Dark Energy" enhancement component

Super Stone: Material required to unlock new "Super Passive Bonuses" growth component

Players must clear Stage 600 of the regular stages to take on the "Dark Area".

New "Dark Energy" Enhancement Component

"Dark Energy" is a new enhancement component that can grant the new offset opponent's Damage DOWN status when raising its level.

By using the material "Dark Data" gathered in the "Dark Area", there's a set chance you can get even stronger.

Get powerful new statuses and get the upper hand in battle!

New "Super Passive Bonus" Growth Component

The new "Super Passive Bonus" system unlocks new stats for your Buddies and SP Supports!

The "Super Passive Bonuses" can be unlocked by using "Super Stones" obtained in the "Dark Area".

After unlocking the "Super Passive Bonuses", your Buddies' and SP Supports' stats will increase incrementally based on Breakthrough status.

Furthermore, the more characters you unlock, the more stats you'll get, which will greatly increase your overall battle strength!

Dark Cores

The chances of obtaining "Dark Data" and "Super Stones" can be increased by using "Dark Cores".

Dark Cores can be obtained by purchasing the following items at the shop.

Player Comments of DIGIMON UP:

Great time-killer game. So far, the updates have been coming with new features. To make the game much better as it progresses, the biggest thing I ask for currently is one thousand or more summon tickets usable per draw. Thirty-five is not nearly enough when I'm racking up six thousand minimum a day.

It's your average afk rp mobile game but with digimon. It is quite fun, it let's you customize your characters' looks on the clothes you get which is nice. I'm giving it 4 stars because it is a little bland when on it but it's definitely a good time killer! I hope they add little minigames you can play while you mon fights to help players play longer. Oh also there are no force ads and it's not P2W!

it's not the best game ever but it's a mobile game. in the beginning you basically just click to lvl up while your partner digimon battles. currently the roster is small but all the heroes from tamera and adventure are here, so if you don't want one of them I would say wait but you can select a new partner later as they're released at least in the early level you do no battling yourself.

The only issue I have with the game, is how many ads you have to watch for powerups and the like. Pay the 8 or 9 dollars to remove ads is where the game really shines. It gives you what you'd expect out of an idle game otherwise. I would rate it higher than 4, however the brief time I hadn't purchased the ad blocker was miserable. But after, the game is much more enjoyable. So if you're a Digimon fan like myself, purchase the ad blocker and for a 9 dollar game, it is pretty good!

Summary:

Given that user reception is currently polarized, prospective players should consider community feedback on core design choices before investing significant time. The title rewards patience and repeat playthroughs, but it may not match expectations for every mobile RPG player.
