Pony Waifu Sim is a simple dating sim based on My Little Pony. It notably does not make them more humanoid and instead sticking to their Pony forms, which may not be some people's thing.The gameplay is basic point and click. You develop the relationships by experiencing events with the Pony you want to date. There is no grinding for relationship points, but there is a little grinding for money. I played version 6.2, in which there are only two dateable ponies. Both the Purple and Blue pony have a short but enjoyable route to play through. It is well-written and is very well-paced which is rare for a game like this.My biggest gripe with the game is that it is very short for a game that has been in development for as long as it has. It feels very empty when you play it as a majority of the locations/characters serve little purpose. The game also was a bit slow loading images during the Blue Pony route but that could be a personal issue.My final score is a 4/5. Its a very solid, albeit short, adult VN that I would recommend anyone who likes MLP to play. As long as you go in with the expectation of playing a simple VN you should enjoy yourself. Just dont hold your breath waiting for the next update.

The presentation of PONY WAIFU SIM is a lot of fun. I think that the artist here has done a very good job of capturing the ponies so that they look like they do in the show, but with a lewd edge of course. The characters have very expressive faces and eyes which was something that I got a big kick out of and the use of color is great too, giving the whole game a nice and bright aesthetic. Now as far as the lewd stuff goes, it is very well done, but why do the ponies have these very puckered buttholes…. Actually, forget that, I do not want to know. In all seriousness, while I did not find the XXX content hot, I can see those who are into the whole furry and brony thing would.

I had a lot of fun with what I played of PONY WAIFU SIM and when they do add the next pony or hopefully a couple at the same time, I will be back to play some more. I found the game to have a great sense of humor about it all and it made me smile most of the time I was playing it. I do feel that you at the very least need to have a passing interest in My Little Pony to appreciate what the developer is going for here. Plus, I do also want to state that this is a free to play game so you have nothing to lose by checking it out.
