Mikoto and the Succubus Island is a story-driven casual game where players return to their home island to investigate various mysterious events. As the investigation deepens, players learn that the awakening of succubi is causing a decline in the vitality of the island's males. Players must explore dungeons with their companions, battling various succubi and uncovering hidden treasures to earn rewards and upgrade their characters' combat abilities. Gameplay of Mikoto and the Succubus Island:

The gameplay suffers from being too simple and repetitive. It is divided into two sections. In the first section, you explore the island's surroundings to find story events marked with an exclamation point and erotic events marked with a heart. The other section is an RPG dungeon crawler where you must explore four dungeons, each with three floors. The objective is to advance to the top floor and face the succubus boss.

The dungeons' layout is extremely labyrinthine, with multiple detours and paths that lead nowhere. Of course, the map is revealed as you progress, so you need a lot of trial and error to get through.In addition to navigating the dungeons' labyrinths, you will encounter random enemies. These are typical turn-based fights where you can use physical attacks, magic, healing items, and so on. Defeating enemies gives you experience to level up and increase your stats. You also gain skill points to unlock powerful passive and active techniques in the skill tree.

It's important to note that the dungeons gradually become more difficult. Not only are there stronger enemies, but new traps and mechanisms are also added that make the mazes more difficult to overcome. These include teleports, spiked ceilings, planks, and pits that drop you to the lower level. So, in general, exploration tends to be quite tedious. Additionally, the RPG system is quite simplified. There is no equipment or different weapons, and the chests you find only contain healing items. Thus, much of the fun of an RPG game is lost.
