By Justice or Mercy is a story-driven casual game where players are falsely accused and imprisoned. After their release, players embark on a journey of revenge against those who wronged them. Players will encounter characters with diverse personalities, and their choices in various story events and dialogues will lead them down one of two different character storylines, gradually unlocking intimate scenes with different characters. The game is protagonist-driven; every choice the player makes profoundly affects the plot, and characters' personalities and quirks will change based on the player's choices, providing a more immersive and enjoyable gaming experience!

Characters of By Justice or Mercy:

Alexandra Dantes: Your oldest sister, a chill and often caring sister, even if she wont admit it. Though she does enjoy teasing her little brother (You) quite a bit. You and her already have a past of fooling around with each-other but how that dynamic will change remains to be seen... Despite this relationship, even she had a hard time approaching you after your father's death, further pushing Brian into his isolation...

Ashley Dantes: Your twin-sister, sharing in your mother's quick temper, something you both seemed to get. The two of you used to be inseparable, but for some reason the fighting between the two of you seemed to become more and more frequent, until it got to the point of a total breakdown of communication. 

Emma Nakamura: Your childhood friend Emma... Really your only friend from your childhood. Most of your childhood was spent beating on anyone who made her cry, which wasn't hard to do... If asked why you went to such lengths for her you probably couldn't answer, but the two of you have been through everything together. Despite this, when you were at your darkest, she didn't know how to help you, leaving your relationship before now in a harsh place and both of you holding regrets for how things were left...

Hana Nakamura: Hana Nakamura, the middle daughter of the Nakamuras. She's a carefree and kind girl. Due to her beauty she got a lot of unwanted attention growing up, but you and Naomi were always there to put those people back in their place.

Naomi Nakamura: The oldest of Lin's daughters, she gives the outward appearance of a cold and ruthless woman. Despite her constantly bickering with her sister Hana she'd do just about anything for both her and Emma. Growing up, you looked up to Naomi as both of you practiced Judo together. She had a habit of scaring off any guy she showed interest in, but over time, the roles reversed, and she found herself scaring off guys who pursued her. Strangely, by then, she didn't seem all that interested in them anymore...

Really impressive, i haven't game this one a chance for years and deeply regret it now. Story is greatly written and has a sweet pace, balanced hot scenes with script beautifully. Im also really satisfied with how characters look and the way they get to look better with new renders. jumped it from 4,5/5 to 5/5 and deserves it atp.

Classical VN with a few choices that, at the end, only seem to decide if you want to go on with a LI / fetish or not. You technically can go "good" or "bad" (metaphorically, not literally) sometimes, but it is yet to see if this has any impact on the main story.There are many different characters. Maybe too many? I agree with previous reviewers that it sometimes feels like the game loses itself in it's many LI's and pushes the main story a bit in the background. It is less of a "negative" point and more something that the dev should be aware of. "Feature" bloat is a thing.Story wise, it is not something groundbreaking but solid enough. The main LIs have enough exposition so they can develop their own character.

Found a gem here, simple, effective, great attention to detail and facial expression (love that), the Li are all charming in their own unique way be it visually or in term of character writing, don't really like the mc's adult design, quite the downgrade from his younger self but it's not that important, the story is quite good like i said simple and effective (slice of life/korean drama chaebol all that shi) , the cast might be a bit too big in the long term, hope the dev doesn't burn himself out.I think that's the first time i find an avn under rated here compared to all the slop rated 4/5stars, maybe the standards have changed with time, don't know, anyway i really enjoyed my time with this one.
