Tails on the Rocks

Tails on the Rocks is a dating simulation game where players take over a failing bar in a seaside town and become its bartender. Players must manage and operate the bar, making wise business decisions to attract townspeople. You'll encounter seven women with distinct personalities, sparking romances through conversations and cocktail mixing, gradually unlocking various exciting intimate scenes. Will you ultimately find love and make the bar a success? The game is continuously being updated, with more beautiful ladies and sensual animations to be added—stay tuned!

Story of Tails on the Rocks:

A recent college dropout, after working as a bartender for some years, your boss comes to you with an opportunity. A friend of his is looking for someone to take over his bar, and he has recommended you! You pack up and move across the country to the quiet seaside town like any other, except is has a majority Anthro population! Can you keep your new business afloat, and maybe find some love in some furry friends along the way?

No panic, v1.0 is not the final release, it's just the numbering. We move on!

v1.0 is most of the way done, but still a fair amount to do. Coming up is content largely voted for by patrons, including the next special event and a new duo. Also coming is some Molly events, in order to try and catch her up in amount of content soon. I'm really happy to see she's been well received as a new character.

I'll take an opportunity now to talk about my thoughts on the future development. Version v0.1 was released in September 2025, so it has been 8 months now. In some ways I feel like I have achieved a decent amount, and in some ways, not much at all.

I've always been up-front about the desired endgame for the girls (marriage, pregnancy) since the game's inception, but as the scope of this project expanded, I've been seeing achieving those goals with in reasonable time a challenge. It's not right to dangle the prospect for so long (and it has never been my intention to), but I am beginning to feel I have spread myself too thin.

I have really enjoyed the process of introducing new girls, tying them into the world, providing some variety, introducing more mechanics, etc. But with my limited time to work on this as a hobby, completing feels like it gets further and further away. I never wanted to be someone who drags on development of the game forever.

I have previously talked about expanding the love interest roster, but from what any recurring players will have seen, that slows down the development of everyone else, of which one may be your favourite. I have a design for the next character, but I am holding off on their introduction to try and progress the current girls to the late stages.

From then on, once the stories of some girls end up completed, I might end up with releases focusing on a single new girl entirely, of which you can stick around if interested to see it all again with a new character.

So in short, I won't expand the list of girls for a while, and want to focus on fulfilling the plan of the early days.

pretty much loved it even though the affections need some kind of event atleast and the business stuff wasnt very appealing? so on there was no background music during the game too made it a little blant however the author seems to be good at twisting with words and makes those who are into furries feel that tingles inside really liked that part plus nice H scenes, kinda reminded me of the game love at first tail, dont wanna compare though.hope this game gets futher development and polishing it needs, keep it up also for the last part it would be nice to add a femboy furry char you know the drill ;p totally optional though .

Fun little game.I enjoyed the characters, they all have unique personalities that I liked, body types are good, animations simple but to the point. We have pretty much complete routes with a few characters (anal is missing still). Fun time.Gameplay: 5/5,Story: 6/5,Animations: 4/5,Characters: 6/5,Character design: 6/5.

The game is just generic. Not a bad experience, but not a good one either.I can’t really say that this game is a grind fest. You just spend two in-game weeks upgrading your bar to the max and that’s it, you swim in money. Getting affection from girls is easy as well, since nothing stops you from spending money on them.The only thing that really takes long to get events - getting the event itself. You can have the needed stats, but how and when you get the next event with a girl is just random.But the two main problems for me are visuals and writing.Half of the girls look incredibly ugly. Especially the dog girl with her gigantic eyes and wide-ass mouth. The characters are neither furry enough nor human enough in design. It just creates that uncanny valley effect. I guess the character creator from that Illusion game just isn’t qualified enough for that kind of design.
