Had a really good time with this. I'd probably rate it a seven out of ten. Not the best of this type of game I've played, but one of the good ones that I don't regret playing. Nothing worse than a game that makes you feel like you wasted your time, but that's not a problem here. If you like this type of game, it will probably feel like time well spent.

It's a great game in a sci-fi setting that does a good job of developing 2 characters. While I cursed the ending quite a bit, it's perfectly fitting and well executed, and certainly provides material for a sequel. I look forward to more games from the developers.

While they do a good job of getting people up to speed in regards to who these two characters are and what the world they are in is like. I would highly recommend that before you play The Symbiant Re:Union, you play through The Symbiant first. You could play this without doing that, but you will feel far more connected to the characters and the story if you do. This is one of the best gay lewd visual novels I have played in a very long time and a fantastic follow up.

As The Symbiant Re:Union is a lewd visual novel, I would assume that anyone who is reading this is familiar with that genre and will know what to expect when it comes to the gameplay. You will be given a few different choices to make as the story progresses and there are a couple of different outcomes, but for me, this game is a one and done. Hey, for those that want to see all the different outcomes that this story has you can play through it more than once. I though, just wanted to see these two together so I was only able to make sure I was picking all the “happy” choices.
