Almost Castaways is a player-driven casual game where players follow two young women as they embark on a survival adventure on a deserted island after a shipwreck. Players will experience various story events and challenges alongside them, helping the women make different choices to build a survival camp, explore the island, gather resources, and solve puzzles. Different choices will trigger different story events; will you ultimately enjoy life on the island or return to the modern world? As the game progresses and the emotional bond between the two women deepens, players will unlock more sensual animations featuring the women, providing even more excitement.

Gameplay of Almost Castaways:

Almost Castaways is a story that follows two women who fall overboard from a cruise ship and end up stranded on an island. Initially antagonistic, the two find they have to work together if they wish to survive. As you navigate the story, you will find the island you're on has secrets. This becomes more important when a native woman from a nearby island tells them they have to leave or face death.

This game is a cross between a visual novel, and a basic survival game. Considering the game is made with the Ren'Py engine, the visual novel aspect is no surprise. There will be numerous situations where a choice pops up and can have an effect; some immediate like the adult scenes, with others being longer lasting like choosing the background job and hobby for another.

This is combined with what I consider survival mechanics. This is a nice surprise since you usually only seen RenPy done with visual novels, though I know at least two devs who've made other types of games with it. You have some traits you want to keep from hitting zero like nutrition, mood, etc. There are also activities that you can do that will fill these traits. Some activities will do more than one, and some activities will lead to intimacy with the characters.

I played few of their games, but this one is definitely an improvement, girls really go crazy on the island and even story seems more fleshed out than before. Devs really cooked something spicy here. Good character development and lot of secrets to uncover. Sex scenes are really hot. Maybe they are just too good at crafting random stuff, because it takes them just few hours to make what would reasonably take days.

Wtf broh, the construction of the novel and the story in this game were so well done that I read every single line of text without skipping anything. I've never read a novel of this genre so well done, so much so that the sex scenes were secondary and I didn't even mind.

I do not think this qualifies for fap material but very much erotic and a game. The focus is mainly on the emotional development between the two main characters, the "almost castaways". Made me look up the other games of Pent Panda. I believe this is something of a remake of theTeenage Zombie in Your Cabin story with more color and improved visuals. The codependece bringing the characters together I feel do not translate to this setting that well from the last people on Earth, but the story has many goofy elements to make it believable.In short it's a sweet lesbian story with colorful visuals. Also it works on Android which is a plus for me.

Pent Panda's masterpiece. This is everything I want out of an adult lesbian VN: fun mechanics, a well-paced love story, cute character models, and a nice way to experience all of it.I love how it feels both inevitable, yet not a given, that these two quirky love birds end up together. And when they do, I think I prefer this method of moving images to the jerky animation that seems to populate most VN's at this level.
