We’re presented, just as the title suggests, with a story that blends reality and fantasy, and that same balance is reflected in the writing. During the opening chapters, the game does a great job introducing its cast. Most characters have interesting personalities and solid backstories, creating a strong foundation for you to grow attached to them. That said, not every character clicked with me personally, but I'll get back to that later. The first part of the game is split between the real world and a fictional DnD-inspired world. While the real-world sections focus on building the group's relationships and dynamics, the fantasy segments honestly feel like they bring the story to a halt. The DnD elements are fun, and they lay the groundwork for the second and third acts, but at that stage there are no real stakes, making those sections feel slower than they should.

It doesn't help that the story is mostly linear. You're forced through certain scenes and character interactions, even if they aren't to your liking, with very little room to influence how events unfold.

Once the story progresses and you're unwillingly transported into the fantasy world, however, things finally start to pick up. It never reaches truly epic or groundbreaking levels, but the narrative becomes much more engaging. The stakes are higher, the plot moves forward at a better pace, and while the game remains fairly linear, you're eventually allowed to decide who you end up with and whether you follow the path of light or darkness.

The relationships between the characters are given room to grow naturally, making the group's interactions much more enjoyable as the story progresses. Depending on the choices you make, the ending feels satisfying enough to reward the journey.

Visually, the game remains consistent throughout. The renders definitely show their age, and some hairstyle choices are... questionable, but overall they're still pleasant to look at. Backgrounds and locations don't offer much variety, and the game reuses them quite often. The animations, on the other hand, are smooth and well-made, adding a lot to both regular conversations and the more intimate scenes. While the adult content doesn't offer much variety in terms of kinks or different scenarios, the scenes themselves are enjoyable and well animated.

Overall, the game starts off a little slow and suffers from a very linear structure, but it steadily improves as the story progresses. While the fantasy setting takes time to become engaging, the stronger second half, enjoyable character interactions, and solid presentation make it a worthwhile experience despite its limitations.

What is it exactly that you do in the game?

It’s a visual novel where you click on stuff, read dialogue, make decisions over random choices that can sometimes pop-out on the screen, explore locations and chat with NPCs in order to progress the story… and you obviously watch short nsfw videos and slideshows.

Will it make my eyes bleed?

The backgrounds are kind of generic and a bit bland, sometimes I wonder if they are assets from early 2000’s games. Most character models look great, with decent faces. I’m glad to report that this game offers no free travels to the uncanny valley. Something that I really love is how much love the devs put into the random cinematics that you get when they introduce a character or a setting, they are fantastic.The NSFW bits are smooth animated loops of 3 or 4 seconds with great jiggle physics. Nothing more and nothing less. I like them but I have to admit that they are nothing extraordinary.

Does it have a good story?

It’s an early access game, so the story is still unfinished. From what I played the story is not that good, it is just your average random plot with lots of NSFW bits. The characters are a bit bland and like in any NSFW game, they just love you, because of course they do.Beyond that, there are some choices that will maybe affect the ending, but because it’s still not implemented I can’t tell you if it will be good or not.

Does it have a good soundtrack?

It's fine. What matters for a good soundtrack of a game is to enhance the gameplay and the story. The OST for this game kind of does that, but not particularly well. The best thing that I can say about it is that it didn’t annoy me, but I don’t like it. Again it’s fine.

Does it have replay value?

Since the game is not finished I can’t tell for sure if it is worth replaying. All I can tell is that it took me 6 hours to consume all the content that this game offers.
