Member Class & Attributes:

IEvery character you recruit belongs in one of the following classes:

Defenders are tanks who shield allies.

Warriors are good in both of offense and defense.

Casters have long-range attacks, damage multiple enemies and boost allies.

Vanguards are agile attackers and can quickly eliminating foes.

Medics are healers  and support allies to keep them fighting.

Snipers use long-range shots to weaken enemies from afar.

Strategies:

That’s usually the first strategy every new player starts to build first. The idea here is to try to have your whole team plays first, and kill all the opponent team on turn 1 before they can even move.We can see 2 nuances in the Cleave strategy : either build All the characters with extreme speed gear to outspeed the opponent, or have a very fast OPENER that is either speeding your team up, or incapacity the other team.

The Low Budget openers to speed up your team are LANA and TAYA. Those 2 characters are easy to get as they are 3 stars characters. Their S3 (Skill 3) increases  your team Action Gauge which results in them playing just after. The role of LANA and/or TAYA is only to let the other members of your team plays before the opponent. This strategy is often used to be able to equip your DPS with highly DAMAGING GEAR and not sacrifice too much Damage for the speed required to play first otherwise.

The best DPS characters for this kind of strategy are APOSTRE (need to pay to get her), DIVERGENT APOSTRE (need to pay A LOT to get her), or CLONE DILDRI as the F2P (Free to play) option. There are for sure some other DPS characters out there that can do great, but those are the most commonly used as they clearly outDPS the other units with the same gear.

A good team here could be : LANA (Opener), CLONE DILDRI (Damage Dealer), Erica (for the DPS Boost she is applying) and Another AOE DPS like APOSTRE or Seaside Noclyn. Strategy here is to make sure your LANA plays first (need 225 Speed + here), then ERICA needs to play 2nd to boost your DPS, then the DPS for the kill.

Another very good team could be LANA, CLONE DILDRI, AUBRYNN then another DPS. ANBRYNN is very nice here as her S3 does remove all buff from the opposite team (should not be needed in a Cleave Strategy except against some teams with SHANI IN DESPAIR on it, or with some initial buffs like IMMUNITY SET) then she applies DEFENSE DOWN and UNBUFFABLE which is very interesting in current META (to counter ML ARIEL for instance).

The ML version of LANA is LAIISMA that not only grants the 25% increased action gauge, but also applies 1 Skill nullfier to your whole team and increase cooldown of 1 enemy to the max … a Beast.Another Cleave strategy is more oriented on Disabling or Incapacitating the opponent team on your first move.There are several OPENERS that are specialized in this kind of cleave strategy :

CLAIRE : Claire is a galaxy 5 star hero that had cooldown to the opponent team skills (up to 3). I love Claire because she starts by removing 1 buff from the opposing team, helping to remove some initial IMMUNITY SET buff for ex. Then her S3 lands several times on each opponent which prevent them from using their S3 or their S2, forcing them to only use their S1 which is usually the weakest attack they have. Last but not least, and in opposition to the other characters on this list, once her skill is applied , it’s not a debuff that can be removed. The cooldown increase has been applied and there is nothing to undo it.  So I consider Claire one of the best OPENER of the game so far. I did not mention but she applies the cooldown increase to each opponent 3 times in a row. So each  can be resisted but the likelihood to resist the 3 is almost 0, giving you at least one free turn to kill them all.

JOCELYN is also a very good opener with an S3 that applies STUN on all the opponent team but also reduce action gauge to the opponent fastest guy, helping your team further to play first. What I do not like in JOCELYN is first the fact that it can be resisted, she does not remove any buff before applying her stun which mean that everybody with an immune set will be … immune. And finally stun can be cleaned if the opponent team has a FAST CLEANSER like Springtime Celeste.

The best F2P option as OPENER is for me PROJEKT MELODY. She starts with a debuff (like CLAIRE), then applies UNBUFFABLE and SELECTED TAUNT on the whole opponent Team. Compared to JOCELYN, she has the advantage of cleaning a debuff first so she can remove the IMMUNITY SET bonus for example. Selected Taunt is also very good as it’s completely incapaciting the opponent team, forcing them to attack your tank (in Combo if you have ML ARIEL) . But as for JOCELYN this can be cleaned by a fast opponent CLEANSER if they have one.

On another Note, AUBRYNN is also considered a good opener as she applies Defense down and unbuffable to the opponent team (being a counter to ML Ariel for instance) but she does not really “block” the opponent team from acting.

Player Comments:

My opinion on this game has Improved considerably there was features i wasn't aware of at the time that fixed a few issues i had with this game previously. I do enjoy this game way more now but my only complaint that truly remains is my luck of the draw... I usually pull the character's personal bond at least twice or hit pity before i ever get the 5 star which annoys me still but that's just a personal skill issue I do recommend this game now.

I'll be honest: I downloaded this game solely for the adult content. The attractive graphics definitely played a part. And yes, the game is full of explicit scenes. It cleverly lures you in by appealing to your basic instincts, then hooks you with its complex gameplay as you start wanting to unlock more and more scenes. But there’s another side to this. Every raid in the missions, squad composition, and calculating skill cooldowns—it all becomes more and more engaging. I never would have thought that in a game about building a harem, I’d have to use a calculator to figure out my squad’s effectiveness percentages‍.

Is it possible to enjoy playing Ark Re:Code without spending a single penny? My answer: yes, but you’ll need to be patient. As a free-to-play player, I immediately accepted that I wouldn’t be able to breeze through the story without spending money. My focus shifted to wisely managing free currency and leveling up low-star but useful characters. The game turns into a crisis management simulator, where every resource is worth its weight in gold. And you know, there’s a special, hardcore thrill in overcoming these challenges.‍

I'd say the game is alright, being able to increase VIP level without having to pay a dime is absolutely huge, even if you have to do tedious tasks just increase the VIP level by 2, it's still worth it in the end. The only issue i have with the game is the Guild, it being barely active and almost nobody using it despite it's rewards, other than that, the game is (probably not fun for most) pretty good.
