Many years ago this app started out without ads. Though I've often privately hated the new ads experience, this app is still at the absolute top of its class. 1) variety of recording and conversion formats, including OPUS. 2) peaceful, no-nonsense, uncluttered display. 3) ads displayed "at the end" of experience/use.

Despite the instructions in Help, I could not find the files anywhere on my phone; no search engine could, I tried 4 methods. I attempted to Share to my cloud drive but it failed: File corrupt Unless you are using the recorded audio files on your phone only, this app is worthless. It does have great graphics and other features, but your files are there forever. I'm trying something else until they get this fixed.

Really bummed, freshly upgraded to a Pixel 6 Pro, it's Android 12 and Reforge II no longer works. It won't record with the microphone, only creates 78 byte files with no data. If you press record, it's like the microphone doesn't work, but the gain slider shows the microphone is detecting sound. Luckily enough I still have Recforge Pro installed and I tried it, old Recforge is working on Pixel 6 Pro with Android 12. When Recforge II gets fixed, I'll change back to five stars.
