Open PixelLab and create a new project. Tap the gallery icon to import a photo, or tap the canvas to select a solid color or gradient background.

When I don't need AI, this is the first app I open for image editing, every time. Super easy to use for layering and fine-tuning images, text, and simple vector objects. Perfectly smooth operation (no lag at all!), and beautifully high-res output. There's a gap or two in its toolbox, but I'll hop onto another app for a minute to get that missing effect, then come right back to PixelLab to perfect the final result. Also, I recently reported a bug, and it was fixed the same day! Truly exceptional.

I've been using this app for graphic design for years, it's awesome for lots of task. I have some recommendations though; 1. Allow accurate page setup size (A4 size etc) 2. Shape/Objects sizes could be measured or sized in either inches or centimeters and not in percentage 3. Grid lines should customize to snap into specific grid distances using inches or centimeters overall, I love the app and will keep using it, thanks!

I love this app! Posting this here because there's a bug. The app suddenly changed the screen size today, making the bottom icons completely unusable, since they're now covered by the navigation icons. I work in tech; I've tried the usual force quit and reboot, to no avail. I have no clue why it's doing this, but for now, it's currently unusable.
