This is what Kingshot was trying to be in their ads. Thronefall is an awesome game, exactly as advertised. One of the few actual games on Google Play. Pay once, play forever without incentive to make any other purchase. There's "mutations" in the game you can select that remind me of skulls in Halo, except you get more XP and upgrade progress when you activate them. So far there's lots of room for progress in the game, I don't feel there's a close ceiling of progress. Having lots of fun!

Worth the price! It has a fairly simple gameplay loop, and the base game is pretty simple, but it can have a lot of replay value if you're interested in seeing how you can manipulate the huge amount of possible combinations for the perks and mutators. No ads or pay-to-win once you buy the game is a great thing. If you saw the scammy Kingshot ads and thought that their gameplay fake trailers looked like they could be a cool game, this is definitely the game to try

Fantastic game WOW! I bought it on my computer too, then on my Switch. I can play it anywhere, lol. It's very much an RTS, but with the focus on base defense. So think of it as Tower Defense, but you control your army to defend and upgrade your base each round. It's challenging but never feels unfair. If you lose, it's because of your choices, not because the game is bad.
