Gameplay of Where The Heart Is:

After the brief prologue the story starts and you set the name of the main character, the default is NoName. You can change the name any time you want by selecting the option in the save menu.Your choices matter. You'll notice the Stats link in the bottom menu. This allow you to check how your responses are received by the women. The number on the left is your current stat and the number on the right is the maximum number for the scene. The Stats points don't correspond to action, you may have sex with one woman at 100 and nothing with another at 200.

The way the game is written if you play the horn dog the women aren't going to welcome it, pretty much just like real life. However, there is nothing preventing you from telling the women what they want to hear. The way the characters are all written, none of them are looking for a monogamous relationship with you. That said, you really don't have much opportunity to be caught with another woman. I'm guessing more of that will come in Season 2. There is a threesome path, but it doesn't happen in this season.

At the end of the scenes you're given the ability to replay the animations, or continue the story.

Having read a decent amount of vns, this one isn't bad at all. The story is very simple and the game doesn't take itself too serious. Most of the characters in the game are enjoyable especially Monica lol. Overall its not bad at all. My main dislike about the game is the way it ended suddenly for season 1 and it could use an upgrade on animations but other than that I had a good time reading it. Would recommend and looking foward to season 2.

As a AVN this writing is beyond almost anything else out there. The dialog is hilarious and real. as well as the characters I laughed out loud so much at the banter between the MC and Katie it was the joy to read. The relationships between the characters is believable and creates a perfect chemistry to aid the story's path. Kudos to the writer(s) and anyone that helped them especially to the thoughts behind Katie.
