To summarize what happens in v0.1: The FMC's house mysteriously burns down, and now she's forced to live at her mom's boss's house... that's it. The boss is made out to be a creep towards the FMC, but he hasn't done anything that would warrant that suspicion. He opens his house to them, offering them refuge, and in return, all he gets is suspicious looks and ungrateful behavior.

To give you some credit: I like the mystery surrounding the arson and the fact that we don't get any answers. I also like the creepy emptiness and the modern millennial house and decor that's bland and liminal. I like the atmosphere, which feels suffocating, like something's wrong about this place, but the FMC can't place a finger on it yet. Everything is great about this VN in terms of its setting, but it feels undercooked and raw and simply pushed out publicly for the sake of it.

Let me be very clear about my complaints, since someone else in the thread is twisting my words:

First, it's very short.

I have no idea what to expect in terms of H-content or the next releases.

It's unclear whether the visual novel (VN) will have choices or if it's a kinetic visual novel (KVN).

If you want white knights and bootlickers to defend you and tell you, "Everything is okay. You're doing a great job," then I'm not that guy. You can choose to ignore me and listen to the morally superior comment above mine, but their supportive words won't improve your game—Your actions and content will. If you really want to improve, make sure v0.2 is massive in terms of content with some H-scenes sprinkled in so we can get a taste for what's coming next.

Do you know what could have easily made this first release better? Allowing us to make choices at any point in the story. Allowing the player to pick an option that leads to a different outcome or a short erotic scene could've made it better. This is why I stand by my point that this feels like a PowerPoint presentation rather than a proper game.

In any case, if you are viewing this game to give you “Return on Investment” like a finance bro or a corporation, and not as a passion project or letting out your creativity or telling an erotic story that you like, then I have nothing more to say to you.
