The wait is finally over. Chapter 7 - Part II is here.This has easily been one of the most ambitious updates I’ve worked on for Shadows of Ambition, and I’m incredibly proud of how it turned out. I wanted this release to feel like a true step forward for the game—not just in story progression, but in quality, immersion, and replayability.And trust me... this chapter delivers.What’s waiting for you in this update:

Major Story Progression: Luke’s world continues to spiral as new alliances form, dangerous opportunities appear, and long-buried truths begin to surface. Some of the scenes in this update are among my favorite I’ve ever created.

The Olivia Dinner Scene: A long, tense, and revealing sequence filled with mystery, manipulation, power plays, and some very unexpected moments. You’ll learn more about Luke’s father, Olivia’s true ambitions, and just how dangerous she really is.

Alice’s Shoot with Milo: Depending on your choices, this is a route to look out for. Expect tension, character development, and some VERY spicy content.

New Minigame Added: For the first time, this update includes a brand-new minigame sequence woven directly into the story. A fun little challenge with an OogleFans scene as a reward. However, if you do not like minigames, you can skip it and obtain the rewards anyway.

Collectibles System Added: A brand-new collectible feature has been added to the game. Hidden rewards can now be unlocked throughout your playthrough.The real question is...Will you be able to collect them all?Some are easy to find. Some are tied to choices. Some may require a sharper eye than others.

I like a bit of netorare in games but please don't abuse it, the game has much better harem potential than most of the cartoon art genre games out there, it has two insufferable characters but the others are well made, very charismatic and they are all beautiful, I don't really like very exaggerated bodies but here you got something very interesting, another aspect is the music, very well chosen or made I don't know if you do it yourself, I hope this game isn't short like most good games in design, congratulations and I wish you success in the project.

I'm tempted to play the version before the rework because Chapter 1 is veeeery short. But what's there so far is really good.Nice AI images, animations, music, SFX, and QoL features such as the gallery. Choices matter, with some (minor?) branching for now.I'm looking forward to some good netorare content, and I think that if it's delivered with the same level of quality as the rest of the game, I'll be satisfied.

I understand reworks suck most of the time but i honestly feel like it elevated the game's potential a lot(to be more then just a generic ai nts fuckfest) as the start of the game felt really weak compared to the later chapters imo.If it doesnt take too long for updates of this quality this can be one of the best AI games out there so this is my vote of confidence, and if like many other devs Abyss fails to meet expectations i will be re-reviewing it again.

69th review? Don't mind if I do...Really been enjoying this VN so far. It's one of the diamonds on this site and is being routinely updated by AbyssGames over time to tweak dialogue and make the sharing scenes (for both Luke and Alice) optional. He's willing to take flak from some fans to avoid forcing unpalatable content on others, and is doing it while adding new content and avoiding an explosion of the development timeline (aka the correct way). Even as a member of Team NTS I can appreciate that, I've built a lot of trust in this developer after seeing their decision making process. AG is also active on F95, so this VN is being made by one of us!The game is using AI art, but it's top tier in terms of quality. A few games feel like they're using AI to phone in the art, but that's not the case here. Characters change expressions and poses, the images look crisp, and the animations heighten the erotic sex scenes (none of the uncanny valley stuff that can sometimes happen with the 2D animations).MC Luke can be more passive than I would prefer at times, but he's growing into more of a confident and dominant role as the story goes on. Alice is a cute kink who's loyal to Luke even if she does get a bit carried away with how she behaves around her crushes (some early controversy with her fawning over one of the bulls, Milo). AG is doing a good job keeping their relationship central and strong while layering in the sharing scenes. It may feel slow for some (we're still early in the story's development), but I've appreciated how the couple checks in with each other, goes on dates in between the action, and keep each other involved. Once allowed to play around, Alice is able to quickly get into the action for some very erotic content. I'm even picking scenes I'd usually avoid (like a porn shoot with the overconfident and aggressive bull Milo) because they're set up in a way that keeps Alice and Luke's relationship and goals as the primary focus.Will flesh this out more as the story grows in future chapters, but this game deserves a positive review. So far I think AG has done a great job creating a setting where a lot of fun kinky action can take place, and building intrigue outside of the sexual content to hook readers. Looking forward to more of Luke and Alice navigating crime rings and using their wits and private parts to overcome challenges!
